Righteous Glory [Recipe and Stat Change Suggestion]

Righteous Glory: Recipe: Crystalline Bracer (600g) + Crystalline Bracer (600g) + Kindle Gem (850g) + 450g = 2500g

Statistics: +650 Health +100% Health Regen +10% Cooldown Reduction +UNIQUE Active: Grants +60% Movement Speed to you and nearby allies when moving towards enemies for 3 seconds. When this speed boost ends, it emits a shockwave, slowing nearby enemy champions by 80% for 1 second (60 seconds cooldown).

The reasoning to why I think this recipe and stats be better for the item is so that it is more efficient on more champions since non-mana users would like it as well like Shyvana, Garen, Rek'Sai would like it, Renekton even would want this, Gnar, Zac even, etc. While these champions can get it now, it is very gold in efficient since the active would need to be deemed valued at 1300-1100 gold somewhere between there since all you are getting is some health regen and 500 health. Health and CDR also helps other users out more too like Skarner, Udyr, Amumu, Sej, etc.

Pretty much I think this is a really cool item, but the item building out of Catalyst inhibits mana and non-mana tanks from buying the item since Catalyst is a very out of the way item on a role that does not want or need Catalyst, people who want Catalyst are also Rod of Ages users like top Maokai, Gragas, Kassadin, Ryze, etc. Tanks that need the Mana can always buy Frozen Heart which they normally build in most games anyways.

This item is mainly an item that jungling tanks want, Catalyst is a huge gold investment which you need to buy early to make use of the passive, junglers cannot get a Catalyst early, only laners- and if a laner wants Catalyst they will most likely buy RoA because they want to carry with the damage not initiate and makes plays with their CC.

In short, this change benefits both junglers a lot better and potentially top lane and supports that want a speed boost item to help them make plays and getting little bit tankier with the health and you can always use the CDR for more abilities and more play-making more often.

Hope you appreciate my idea! Until next time! ~ Stacona

Righteous Glory, in its current for, is actually well done item precisely BECAUSE it is worse on non-mana users than on those who do use mana.

It is like this: One of the supposed shortcomings/disadvantages of manaless champions is the fact that they lack AoE CC. However, Randuin's mitigates that weakness to some extend by giving access to the strong AoE slow. Also, it is very focused on giving defensive stats, with no just situationally useful extra stuff like bonus mana, AP or something. Which made it core on every manaless top lane AD tank (because that's what bruisers basically are). Moreover, most manaless bruisers are already somewhat mobile (Mundo speed boost + Tenacity, Aatrox jump, Zac Jump + Let's Bounce, Shen's Shadow Dash, Lee Sin's kit, Shyvana's Dragon's Descent, Gnar's E, Rengar's passive, Renekton's Slice'n'Dice), so they don't need the easy access to the speed boost.

But the Catalyst makes it less accessible to everyone, not just non-mana tanks- most likely the non-mana tanks won't pick it up, but at least it grants an option for them to take it- meanwhile changing the recipe helps out tank junglers to get the item because junglers do not and will not buy a catalyst because it is an unrealistic item for junglers especially with the jungle getting nerfed in season 5- and mana-tanks end up buying Frozen Heart for their mana needs anyways
