does anyone else think "flex picks" are a problem?

Every so often a champion will go somewhere they're not supposed/intended to, and rito will swiftly nerf them back into their intended role. Some people get upset about this, arguing that it hurts their intended role, which is true. Or they'll argue they should be allowed to go wherever they're going.

TBH in my opinion, i really don't like the idea of there being so many flex picks in the game. A few are okay, but when you can build a team out of them or pick multiple ones i think it's really bad for the game. You should be able to know where your opponents going to go when they pick a champion.

It's actually difficult to not make a flex pick. Only a handfull of champion are really limited to one position.

With most of them alternate positions are simply unpopular, but they still work fine if someone wants to do it.

I think you're mistaking flex pick for off-meta picks. Example: the last match I played was a jungle yasuo game, I may be a bit on the extreme for that but that doesn't seem like a flex pick, it's just me playing off-meta. Realistically there isn't a lot of flex picks (mostly top laners that can mid and vice versa)

I completely agree. It's so annoying going mid and having to fight against a Lulu or Zilean but it's even more annoying when I'm playing support(my favorite role) and having to deal with Cho'gath, Annie, Sion, or even Yasuo support.

I don't mind them. I don't think every champ need be one though.

I like flex picking because it helps prevent counter picking every single f###### time and a person losing the game in champ select. :P
