Ryze nerf sugestion

So im not even a ryze player but i noticed the change in pbe where his passive would only reduce the CD on his first 5 spells only. Well im not an expert or anything but i think that's kinda of a HUGE nerf considering the goal of ryze is to spam like crazy and while this nerf would make his early weaker (ehich is intended) it would kinda ruin his late game (which i think its not intended)

So i would like to make a sugestion: instead of that first 5 spells on his passive only, why not move the increased duration of his passive from his Q to his Ulti or even make it scale with levels in a way that the duration of his passive is like it is now or maybe slightly worse but lategame is just as good or even longer?

I think this could keep his early in check while not denying his powerful

His early game is not the problem they are adressing it's his perms snaare at level 13+, as 13 is the mid game I don't think the scaling pasive ult will help

I think the worst part of Ryze is Ryze. I'm not saying "QQ DELETE RYZE QQ." I'm saying that the way his kit works makes him pretty tiresome to balance. It just feels like messing with anything about Ryze is just going to make him clunky as hell to play. There's really just not much space to change things without completely ruining him. He's really, REALLY fun to play, but really, REALLY horrid to play against. He's not so bad early because of his disgusting mana issues, but since he builds a lot of mana, he becomes seemingly resourceless after he gets a RoA and a fully stacked Tear. Neither of which are very hard to get.

Either way, I agree that he needs something done, but what COULD be done draws a complete blank. Seems like if they took much away from his ability spam, he could be stuck in an awkward spot between not enough damage to kill someone and not enough itemization to really be a tank. I dunno. I'm not on the balance team and I don't have a whole lot of experience with him. Just my opinion.
