Aery and Press the Attack should be toned down

Summon Aery is just DFT, "More unavoidable damage on spells" and he returns so fast it can be procced multiple times during a trade, damage should go down and shielding a bit too. Multiple games I see supports with Aery outdamage carries with Electrocute or Comet.

Press the Attack I think was intended for someone like Jax and Trynd to make them want to teamfight for the 12% increased damage but it's just being used by ADC, the increased damage should only be granted to melee and the damage after 3 autos should go up so ADC still have a keystone if they can't use Tempo.

Aery? Fast!? Dude. She runs out fast, but returns at a goddamned crawl. And the numbers are nothing huge, either. They might need a little tuning, but not much more.

Source on that? There's no reason for a marksman to not be able to use Press the Attack. This is just anti-marksman bias coming from you.

I personally agree. I use aery (btw adorable af) and its actually not as strong as you claim. Yeah it damages enemis and allies and it hits for sure, but aery rotates around the enemy/ally for 2 seconds then slowly returns to you, unless you pick it up physically. After all its pretty much a mini ahri pet (in regards to spirit fox XD) spirits tend to walk slowly and attack swiftly when you think about it when talking bout paranormal and shit XD but aery is very good for that little extra damage to kill and great for poke, and can act like a mini weaker locket of the iron solari as well. Aery is really good for poke, sheild, and heals. But doesnt have CRAZY amount of op power. Tbh its pretty good where it is. Not too much damage, not too little damage. Could be excellent for melee assassin mages like akali or diana maybe. Since when it goes off of enemy it goes like fugging 125 units/second or so. It moves so slow, unless you pick it up, and if you're a melee mage assassin, that time aery "ponders" is shorter cuz you can immediatly pick her up since ur close.

Also, i absolutely adore so much how it pounces and makes cute little noises when you have homebase ghost x3.

Also riot, little fun idea, see what you guys think. Should aery be like a perminant pet always physically there by your side, maybe like floating aroun your body, or bouncing behind you, much like that dog from one of the old items (idfk what its called) to be honest thatd look so adorable. And id love that a lot

Does Aery deal magical damage or physical damage?

Magic. Sorcery is like the mage rune per-se. Resolve is tank, domination is power and damage, Precision is for ADC/AA based champs, Inspiration if you just wanna fuck around and have fun.

So for me, Mages i'd do Sorcery/Domination ADCs i'd do Precision/Domination Bruisers i'd do Domination/whatever for junglers i'd do Domination/resolve ETC

that's just from what i analyzed anyways.

most of sorceries stuff involves magic damage and mana sustain as well. resolve has a lot of defensive tools. domination has a lot of LS and pure damage. Precision has a lot of things based off of Auto Attacks, and Inspiration is if you wanna fuck with the "rules" can be useful for supports maybe.

so to be honest, there's like 1 per lane to be honest

But when i test aery in practice tool i always see red damage when aery proc, are you sure? Or maybe just a visual bug?

I think its based on your champs damage style idk it just says:

attacks and abilities send Aery to a target, damaging enemies or shielding allies.

Damage: 20 - 60 based on level (+0.100000 AP and +0.150000 bonus AD) Shield: 30 - 80 based on level (+0.250000 AP and +0.400000 bonus AD)

Aery cannot be sent out again until she returns to you.

Press the Attack I think was intended for someone like Jax and Trynd

I dunno if that's true.

That's almost like saying it shouldn't be in the Precision Tree. Any runes/masteries can and have been used in various ways on champions. This is the pre-season first off, so there's gonna be a lot of experimentation going on. I use Summon Aery on Miss Fortune cause yes, it gives a similar feeling to DFT and that was a perfect one for her AOE damage. That still doesn't mean these things were truly intended for one type over the other.

Summon Aery has the potential for mages and supports but it's in a Sorcery tree, not all supports are Sorcerers. But like I said, it can also be useful for others depending on your playstyle. All of these are just intended to give us some more ways to explore the game.

I think both of them need to be redesigned. They're extremely boring and reliable so they're crowding out other options right now.
