Why does Annie control tibbers with R, whilst Shaco and LeBlanc controls clones with Alt + Button 2?
Pushing R is so much easier on the hand and the mind. Why are they different?

Shaco uses R as well, or at least he can.
Shaco can use R to control clone. If it is tied to their ultimates champs can control there summons with R. Mordekaiser can do this as well. Leblanc cannot do this because her clone is her passive and there is no button to press to use your passive. Personally I agree that alt + click is hard on the hand to control so I switched it to shift + click for LB clone.
Shaco can control his clone with his R, granted he's not dead.
LeBlanc can't control her clone anymore since the revert/rework most recently.

They reverted Leblanc's ultimate so she cannot summon her clone on command. As such, it us moved to alt +button 2 because her R now controls her mimic spell.
