Revert Evelynn riot, please? (Rengar related)

As one who played League for a while only for Evelynn and loved the champion beyond bounds. I was sad to see the champion get reworked into one that isn't even remotely similar. Seeing as Rengar has essentially been entirely reverted and on the PBE, it shows that you riot, are willing and able to redo your mistakes.

Evelynn has seen a lot of play since the rework, and she's so potent that she's actually getting nerfed. Now, assassins are pretty cookie cutter; you can either have an assassin be forever strong (Zed, Talon) or forever weak (Leblanc, Kayn) or the champions that are meta driven and it's basically a coin flip on patch day (Ekko, Kha'Zix, Fizz)

Instead of blindly nerfing her damage; because lets face it, her damage isn't exactly what's making her strong, you revert her back to the state she was in before because she was perfectly fine. She was a champ who either was godlike or sucked depending on the player alone in even reach of the elo.

Her visuals can remain, just the kit has to come back. I don't speak for the whole Evelynn community but i have in my gut that anyone who was an oldschool Evelynn main/fan, simply do not like playing her anymore, and instead she's just played right now for the meta gains.

Please riot, if you can redo Rengar, you can redo Evelynn.. A champion that only really needed a touch up on her ult at best... Not the unrecognizable champ of today.

Old Evelynn was trash and it was just boring to play. New Evelynn is 100x better, stop complain an adapt.

Not sure why this is getting so many down votes.

At the least have her enhanced E proc multiple on-hit effects and add in AD scaling. One of her biggest draws before was she could adapt her build to take out whatever the highest priority target was at the time. Now she's just another AP assassin whoa also happens to be in an impossible to balance state as long as she has a long-lasting hard cc from stealth with no indicator until that cc is already fully primed.

As long as that charm and the arrow associated with it remain as they are, Evelynn's current design is going to be even more imbalanced than her previous version. She'll either be one of the worst characters in the game (like she was before Masteries Renamed) or OP with no meaningful counterplay (you know, like she is currently).

There's no middle ground when you have a character based around a point-click hard cc from stealth.

True i miss her so much before i played her everyday and that was so cool now everytime i play this new eve it s a bad moment i dont know why just my feeling but riot will not revert her or maybe in 2/3 years so cya guys xd have fun

AMEN BROTHER. I completely agree, Evelynn was butchered and there was no need to change her into this abomination.

As someone playing LoL for 5 years , only beginner occasional AP Evelyn's didn't mind the change because they were bad at it originally so they can't tell any difference.

For them it's just build AP spam buttons then move on. Same same.

For the rest of us who are the core fan base it was the most bizarre thing to see. Clearly the revision was done by a team that either had no understanding at all of anything or hated Eve or both.

As afforementioned by Joe, it actually took a lot of practise and fine tuning to do well with Eve, skill based performance. The most perfect champ imo. Unlimited build combinations and strategy. CANT HAVE THAT NOW CAN WE.

When i heard of the remake i said great how exciting.

But as often happens in life you're left wondering, what planet do these people come from that make these decisions.

My answer came when i learnt that varus' lore is two gay men fused with a demon.

Then i noticed new eve says " let Evelynn take over" subtly pushing demonic posession.

My conclusion is that riot is over-run by liberals.

REVERT EVELYNN.

Admit it was a experiment gone wrong. You have the statistics, no one plays her except the occasional curious player who wants to try her out then dry reach.

Maybe you could have two Evelynns to choose from like other games example street fighter where you can use evil Ryu or normal Ryu. Problem solved. mor
