The 'feedback' for the new 'sword' skins; Why did riot listen to it?

I don't really have much to comment on this other than to question; Who gave this feedback - Racists and Feminists? In regards to Yi and Janna, 'westernizing' their faces has completely taken out any charm, character and general meaning behind the skin imagination and splash. I don't understand such a pointless change? As to Fiora, the subtle length given to her clothes is just bemusing. Like, what? There is also now WAY to much color in these splash arts. They were delicate and lovely to the eyes. Now they look a bit lower quality.

I understand constructive feedback for the most part, but this is just outstandingly confusing. I sincerely hope these tweaks get reverted and the art team given more faith and trust in their work. These splash arts have been ruined...
