SR has turned into 'who has the worst player on their team' to decide who loses
Instead of what team works together the best to win.
Instead of what team works together the best to win.
Yup. Too bad Riot still doesn't get it.
Same difference.
Not the same. Who can play a team fight better is different from which one will run it down first.
I mean, if you’re running it down, you’re not gonna do anything in teamfights anyway. In previous seasons, tanks were the exception to this rule - not anymore.
If you're running it down, the least you could do is soak up some damage so that your carry can survive or hard engage if you get a good flank. Also, we are comparing past to present. You used to be able to win teamfights back in season 7, pre scuttle meta, even when you were behind. However, the chance of that was slim unless your team just flat out has better mid game macro and or micro. Now, that only happens when the other team fucks up.
It is also often who got the worst champ pick for a role. Like if one team gets a strong meta jungle or top and the other does not.
Often anyway. Sadly you get the sheep meta slaves that have no clue how to play for instance Graves and manage to go 0/3/0 in the first 5 minutes of the game on arguably the strongest early game jungler.
Has it not always been like this?
Something something is easier to win 6vs4 than 1vs9
In every team there is one person that performs worst. This is a fact on both teams. Usually this means that you lose at least one lane, since there are three lanes, simple probability. So the question is, how do we react when this happens? Do we flame the one player who loses his lane ? And will this help the team win? If our goal is to win, we will want all five players to stay in the game and keep trying their best, also the one who is behind. The one who is behind needs to help support the rest of the team and peel for the carry, as well as defend and help take objectives. The ones who are ahead need to stay calm and be proactive, instead of blaming teammates for things that can no more be undone. This is, if your goal is to win.
LOL I feel the same. Legit almost every game it’s like may the worser (ik it’s not a word) players win. Not even may the best player win*[sg-soraka]*
It is still possible to pull out the W it just really depends on the team comp but some of these games it gets pretty rough, still I agree to an extent the chances of winning a game with severe feeding from any one lane is still pretty low. If you are losing lane, sometimes its best to just play insanely safe, ward, and warn other teammates about the issue. If they start to flame you start to mute :)
