Ahri is just too dominant now

Ahri is simply too safe in lane.

No champion should have such an easy and carefree time in lane pre 6. Too many junglers have had their early game nerfed, and she was already hard to gank before then. The few mids that countered her pre 6 have all had their early games nerfed. Kat, Talon, and LeBlanc to name a few.

Ahri makes up for her mediocre early game, by being completely safe in lane until she gets her mid game power spike. Now that her usual early game counters have been nerfed she is safer then ever.

I feel like you're just too safe yourself to really do anything to her. I notice that when she takes risks she does better but the same goes for people trying to stop her. I think you're the type who loses games of chicken

Yes, Ahri is good right now, but she can definitely be countered. Her mama pool is so small early game that often times her laming phase will struggle. Pressure her pre 6 to put her even farther behind than she already will be. You can play champs like fizz (quick e-q combo for good poke and wave clear to make her cs under tower) or zed ( w-e-q for poke and wave clear as well) to put her more behind. As far as her mobility goes, without her ugly her only escape is her ult. If you can, have your jungler come gank pre 6 (before she gets her mobility) and if they or you have any stun you should have no problem getting a kill or at least blowing her flash.
