Can we stop talking about Riven for 5 minutes?

I am so sick of the boards being nothing but "Lol riven is disabled thank god", "Riven is so OP and here's why" and "Riven is really weak you guys are all bronze noobs" threads for the last few days. It was funny when people celebrated about Riven being disabled but the amount of heated threads between the Riven haters who claim she's broken and the Riven fans who claim that everyone who hates her is an idiot is getting really tiresome.

Riven hasn't changed lately, her last change was a few patches ago when she got a couple of small nerfs. She also likely doesn't have any changes coming in the near future. How about we talk about stuff about which there's actually new stuff to say? We've all heard a million times about Riven's strengths (mobility OP, CC OP, animation cancelling OP) and her apparent weaknesses (her enemies not being Bronze or whatever), so there isn't even anything new to be learned by discussing her more.

How about something different, G&B?

people arre just having enough of it and stop being quiet

a problem wont disapear until fixed ... and this is the place where we have to speak about problems

Unfortunately, that's how G&B works. It's how Champion Feedback worked in the old forums. And it's probably how it works in the future, too. I'll probably let us know after I finish the time machine.

The collection of loud voices that don't like a thing will come to the forums and talk about the thing they don't like, and why they don't like it. Another group of voices will come in and start arguing with them, because this is the internet; people are going to have opposed opinions on everything but Mr. Rogers. Both groups will argue back and forth, neither side gaining any ground or insight, because the vast majority of those people can't be bothered with learning both sides of an argument. As for the few that will listen to both sides, they'll still usually stick to one side that fits with their opinions.

But, again, this is the internet. An argument of this size can't sit around "unsolved." After all, someone has to be "right" and "win" the never-ending debate. They ignore the fact that both sides would have to find some middle ground for the argument to ever end, and just continue the shouting match.

Eventually, instead of either side actually being right or wrong, it gets overshadowed by a new argument after a few weeks/months. The cycle begins again. While there are occasions where everyone can come to a consensus, those are the exception rather than the rule.

Instead of bothering to tell people to stop their shit posts about an argument, I just tend to ignore them. Maybe I'll float around the more intelligent threads surrounding the argument and have some debate with other players that are willing to trade opinions instead of shout them at my face and disregard mine, but I generally don't bother, because it's going to keep going as long as the game exists.

Listen, riven has issues yes, but I seriously felt the day she was disabled people just wanted free upvotes. I saw some posts that had great content on her issues, but others that were just like "THANK GOD SHES DISABLED I HATE HER etc, etc, etc" and just felt like they did it for the hyper/free upvotes.
