I'd accept a passive nerf or AP nerf to Rabadon's for a reduced cost

At this point, it should be 3400 gold cost to match item 3031 . Or it should be combined with another item, so it would actually be worth as a rush item, maybe even bring item 3090 to summoners rift and delete item 3089 or make it into one of the cheaper components.

I agree with you. I don't even think a lot of AP champions are taking the item due to how short games tend to be now either. 3800 is just too much.

To knock 400g off the cost it'd have to take a stats hit.

IE actually lost some AD when it's cost was reduced (80 => 70 if i recall)

If they had to reduce one of the stats to reduce its cost, I'd rather they reduce the flat AP. It's only 20 over any of the other "good" AP items (with the exception of item 3007 ). The passive is really what sells it imo. 35% would make up for that lost AP on the deathcap itself easy.

Agreed. If I remember correctly, they hit IE with an AD nerf but also lowered the price, but then they bumped the AD back up. I don't think Rabandon's has been looked at in quite some time.
