Don't understand how this performance grade works

Don't understand.

Riot says i got B. OP.gg gave me MVP and 9.3 OP score

Had 60 vision score, i got all the dragons in the match... pretty much shit on their jungler. despite my bad score, i pretty much did everything i could.

but it feels like your grade is based like legit only on KDA.

Here is another comparison: https://imgur.com/YYQTs8Z https://imgur.com/qhhYu25

cs needs to be 6.0 pm or above , in a 40 min game you were only part of 12 kills for less then 50% kill participation. and it compares you to other VIs in the jungle role at your rank/mmr

for a gank heavy jungler and a jungler who charges into fights almost as a front liner you should have way more kill participation and finally your kda is below 3.0

so yea you played about the lvl of B grade

also it looks at stats like damage dealt to champs/objectives etc

What jungler that isn't farming 24/7 can get 6/m. not in my ELO.... I was heavily objective oriented while my team was fighting all day...

it's like you're saying kp/r , cs/m and KDA is everything.

What about objective control, vision score, roaming dominance.... like totally ignored?

I mean, op.gg clearly thinks i was doing the best in the match... why doesn't riot's do the same?

ok you might of done the best in that match that dont mean you did well enough compared to all VIs in the jungle to get an A or an S

and op.gg ranks/grades have nothing to do with riots

i assume op.gg is comparing you in the game to the 9 other players in the same game, however riot when it comes to their GRADES isnt about any one else in your game but about all the other times X champ was played in Y role at Z elo/mmr and that is compared as a whole to each other.

in order to get A and higher you have to be in the averages of the top 10% or better

i dont get why you are upset about the grade. it truly means nothing.

i have won games with a C grade and lost games with an S+ grade

but it takes into consideration all stats. kda, kill % , cs per min, damage to objectives, damage to champs, cc scores , how much of the enemy jungle you took , vision , etc etc

Well, mostly because i am trying to get that damned chest

i assume op.gg is comparing you in the game to the 9 other players in the same game

I don't think it compares you to the rest of the players in a single game because then someone would have to be like 10 every game.. which doesn't happen. all the players can have low scores.

I don't think if it would require a 10 if it compared you against everyone in the game. if no one got kills, and everyone had 20 deaths, but one person had 10 (executions). That person with 10 deaths but 0 kills probably wouldn't be a 10.

Riot kind of gave up on the grading system a while ago so the way each stat is weighed in the grading is probably outdated by a good 2-3 seasons. Don't worry about your grades, no one else really does.

Grade has very little to do with K/D/A. It is almost entirely about CS, regardless of role. If you want a good grade more than you want a winning match, focus on farm and treat everything else as a side goal.
