Fun knowing your 4k health and 300 armor means jack shit when you will never even get in range of her unless you're a melee with insane mobility mixed in with damage.

Actually, only the AS slow is effective VS Kalista. The real slow on it is worthless. Meanwhile, Kalista is deleted by AS slows, as it delays her dash animation significantly.

Yes attack speed slows make her get to stepping slower BUT False: "Martial Poise distance scales with Enhanced Movement, and is increased by 25% when dashing backwards." it is worth slowing her movement as well.

Did you honestly think a Champion Designed by CertainlyT would be fair and balanced?

I seriously hate this Rioter, he promotes unbalance with each idea he brings to the table. First it was Yasuo with his 2 passives and double crit rate, now it's Kalista.

I dread what his next idea is going to be.

Also imo Yasuo(well was before Riot decided to give him an over the top buff) is far more balanced than Lee Sin (who hasn't been getting nothing but love tweaks since his release) will ever be.

Those are usually the melee champs who can still catch Kalista. Also remember, most Kalistas suck at the moment so you should have an ez time killing them.

That's the problem, your champ hard counters kalista or she hard counters you. There's no in-between. Throw in the issues with the troll potential of her ult and no clear way to reject being oathsworn and she is annoying regardless of whether she is an ally or an enemy.

Well, as Diana I can get tons of Q's off late game, meaning basically unlimited dashes...and I wasn't saying she was OP, she is just mobile as a champion. I said Talon because he had a blink, but you're right about him. Fiona has 2 dashes, 1 free, so I counted her...

Talon & Fiora can definitely stick to Kalista, Diana has to land her Q and needs gold to be able to blow up Kalista before getting kited to shit.

Assassins burst people down. It only takes 2 dashes for an akali or Fiora to kill a Kalista. Don't they have 2 dashes?

Vayne has better mobility IMO, at least she isn't forced to buy a ton of AS before her mobility becomes a thing because her AS isn't as abyssal as Kalista's

Still you can't get close if her team is fucking bronze 5 they can stall you long enough for her IE to kill everyone trying to close in and even if not then all your resources are gone so their mid should win the rest of the fight. Yeah its pretty stupid

build thornmail, build randuin's omen, stop trying to 1v1 her, she's so easy to kill in a 2v1 situation, or as a bursty assassin.

she is fairly easy to kill in a 1v1 too, buy Randuins or Frozen and watch her not being able to do anything because she cannot proc her passive quick enough. you may need to sneak behind her first late game though

I don't like the new champion too much, and I don't think all the hard "counters" that people are mentioning are accurate either.

Warwick doesn't counter Kalista unless she is dumb. All she needs is one of the ways to remove his ultimate and then he's given her a free 2 second stun window to obliterate him. In solo Q, that's going to probably be a QSS but in team games there are tons of ways to interrupt him. The same can be said for anyone with a long cooldown single target CC (Malzahar comes to mind as having the same thing).

I'm seeing some of them take Cleanse instead of Heal, and buying a QSS after their first big spike item. I also see a bunch of people assuming that they are going to rush IE like all the carries ever (which they don't have to). I'm more scared when they rush PD or Statik first, because once they get to 2+ AA's per second almost nobody can fight them. Just QSS + Cleanse (if necessary) anyone who can CC and clean up the kills.

QSS (and any CC that interrupts his ult atm) will not block the damage it deals(even if he dies), same happens with Malzahar and Urgot (Urgot case is hilarious because Urgot can QSS HIMSELF then walk into his own team to swap you into death). so WW with the current jungle items can easily blow her up.
