How much longer must we wait for riven to be balanced?

I mean really... Haven't we put this off long enough? Inb4 riven mains start flaiming... I mean it seems like they keep her broken as fuck just because alot of people main her and are scared to get hate for nerfing a champion that deserves it... there is NOTHING more annoying than playing against a riven... half the time i just wanna dodge que because there is literally nothing you can do against her, she has NO hard counters, even garen and chogath arent enough to keep her down.. and a 0/12 riven can come back with a luck kill or two to carry an entire fucking game... yea maybe i'm a bit salty but after reaching mastery level 5 and learning how freaking annoyingly overpowered she is, i think it's about that time riot...

"Riven is OP" is a meme, but whatever, I'm cool with her being the Chuck Norris of G&B, but the "Riven mains are scum and we get a free pass to make snide remarks about them at every turn and abuse them in game" thing is not cool.

She's really not that bad. If you want to dodge a game every time you see a Riven picked, perhaps it's time to play some normal games again and get some practice against her in. If you're playing normal games and can't deal with her, get a friend to teach you the lane in custom games.

Want some counters? Swain, Darius, Renekton and Garen all bully her. If you're losing to a Riven as these champions you're playing the lane wrong (or the Riven simply has a lot of experience against these champions and is a high enough tier to play it out in her favor). If you're losing hard though, learn the match-up and you won't have as much trouble.

Other champions that do well are Cho'Gath (You mentioned you had trouble against her with him, I guess the lane can go either way), Malphite and Maokai.

You can beat a Riven by playing smart, fighting her when he abilities are on CD. A good Tryndamere and Irelia can also beat a Riven, but that then comes down to skill.

Riven is a strong champion and snow balls hard if she gets ahead early. Just play smart, ping when she roams and you'll improve.

I don't personally have have trouble against her... but even if you win your lane somehow she will STILL snowball because her kit is stupidly broken...

Kinda have to wait for most people to learn how to play against her, so it will be a very long wait.

I've never really had issues dealing with Riven personally. Know when to give up CS, know when to take advantage of her cooldowns early, and know when to build defensively. During teamfights, just make sure you have someone capable of CCing her long enough to burst her.

She's probably always going to be an issue in Bronze, Silver, and Gold due to the wild disparities in skill and lack of coordination/cooperation at those ranks.

I win my lane vs most rivens by playing Swain .. he seems to do quite well vs her. by the time you both hit 6 you have either 1. Poked her down to low to where she can all in you without dieing as well , 2. have traded evenly , in which case when she goes to all in you uli as well and win the trade after R>E>Q. or lastly , your not playing swain.

then they simply roam and destroy your other lane, and yes sadly i'm stuck in silver 4 atm, and have pretty much given up on ranked for the season but she is still stupidly broken... i mean rationalize it all you want she is broken... there are 100 ways they can nerf her to make her balanced... like take away the ability to animation cancel so she HAS to be played the way she was supposedly designed... it's almost like a glitch they refuse to fix... or take the AD scaling off her shield so people can actually fucking trade with her, among other things...

Um, there is lots of champions that roam when down. Katarina has to be the most famous of all or was tho you don't hear much talk about her now. She typically loses her lane just like Riven's do, but then goes roaming except Kat is a penta killing machine even when down, at least Riven has to be fed to score a penta kill unless you're Huni from Fnatic and can Quadra at level 4 or so under a turret using stuns lol.
