Would you report a teammate for bad ping?

Last game, we had a jungler aka lee sin that had a ping of over 10000. Needless to say, we lost. Even so we were forgiving and didn't want to report him. This was during my ranked promotion series which made it even worse.

Always. If it's a rare case then RIOT knows how many times they been reported. If it's not a rare case, RIOT knows how many times they been reported and still play without fixing it. They will get LPQ which don't solve anything Frequent afk's/dc/low pings/playing on a shit connection need to eventually have the account banned because idiots can't be responsible enough to fix their shit and continue to ruin other peoples games.

I lagged once one time during a game and my team raged and I mean like ok I had 2 deaths and they had 5 to 8 and I lagged out died and reconnected... they went off on me how I should off myself for feeding and because I was lagging I shouldn't play league anymore since I cost them their series.

Considering that I experience bad ping on a daily basis, I would strongly disagree. Now, of course, I don't think anyone should play ranked if they know about their ping issue, but everyone occasionally has bad ping; that's how the internet works. If this was a normal game, absolutely not. If it was ranked AND the Lee Sin player has had these issues in the past and refuses to do anything about them, purposefully impeding others' ability to play and losing them their games, then totally. That's malicious and should be reported on the spot.

Been playing almost 4 years. The only time I had bad ping was if it was a server side issue and I can count how many times that happened on one hand minus the thumb. The problem is people think that computers are consoles and treat them as such. There is so much you can do to fix your shit it's not even funny. One of the biggest things is to stop playing on friggin WiFi. When I hear people bitch about lag, I will ask them that question and almost everytime it's yes. Stop running 947 windows in the background. When you are gaming online, your system should be dedicated to doing just that and you probably solved most of your problems right there. Get online and search for ways to prevent things like this from happening. People are just too lazy to do that.

It does not matter what mode it is. There are those that feel differently than you do. It's a competitive game and people get upset when idiots who can't fix their shit ruin the experience for them.

Do you live in the countryside? If not, you cannot speak on the subject of bad ping to even a slight extent. People in the countryside not only get tremendously slower upload and download speeds, but also get throttled if: more than one person in your household is utilizing the internet at once (aside from basic tasks like emails), it is during peak hours where many in the neighborhood have gotten off of work and they too want to enjoy the internet (typically 5-9 P.M. on weekdays, weekends are unpredictable), or if anything beyond light rain is occurring.

Also, do you live alone? Do you live with people who use the internet heavily and/or frequently?

I understand your sentiment honestly; some people are lazy fucks and should seriously get an ethernet cable. But if you live in the countryside, your ping will be horrendously unpredictable and uncontrolled, and there is no workaround outside of moving.

And no, it does matter what mode it is. You want to play competitively, go play ranked. Normals, though certainly is not designed for fucking around, also is not even remotely meant to be played by people who want to tryhard. I don't care what you're trying to prove, nor do I care about your "Lee Sin plays"; ranked is for you to play with that attitude.

Bottom Line is...

If you can't play with a reliable connection then you deserve whatever punishment you get if you continue to que up and ruin games. I don't care where you live.

Yes it don't matter what mode because this is a competitive game. There is a winner and there is a loser. If you wish to bring that trash attitude into this kind of game then you also deserve what you get. Sheep do not understand that not everyone thinks like they do. Play to win or stay out and stop ruining other peoples experience with your trash attitude.

Answer one question...

Why is it ok for you to ruin any mode for any player?
