Making the opening speech in game more interesting since we know what lane everyone is going in

Like, instead of just saying "Welcome to summoners rift" it should be because everyone is picked a roll before hand, the voice would say

"Welcome to summoners rift, irelia vs olaf, azir vs ahri, evelyn vs lee sin, ashe and thresh vs ezreal and blitz, minions will spawn in 0:00

And no, it would not take too long to finish, you already have a 16-17 second wait time to be able to move out of the base, and then 5-7 seconds to get to lane or any bush that you are going to, the summoner speech would be done or if not 95% done by that time.

This is literally the dumbest shit I have ever read yet Riot will respond to this saying that it is a development in progress... RIP Twisted Treeline

Nobody plays Twisted Treeline

How is it stupid, it makes the first ~30 seconds of doing nothing more interesting. And how would it affect Twisted Treeline?

That would take way too long for it to get through.

It's not about a lack of time to say all of it, it's more a matter of having to sit through the announcer going on and on for all that time. I don't want that. I'm usually trying to focus on other aspects of the game during that time period.

i think this is a great idea it has alot of potential, also riot should add a /skip for it to skip it if 8/10 players in teh game want to skip it

Or just a mute button for those who don't like it(and a check box in the options to turn it off for every game)

Yes that is just as good if not better.

What about lane swaps?

you know that it is not 3 different 1v1s with a 2v2 mixed in, right? League is a 5v5 game.

Never minding lane swaps, there's sometimes cases where theres flex picks so the lane opponents aren't clear until laning phase actually starts and that's part of the strategy, so even if the game knows where people are expected to go, those in the game don't.

Also, it's a 5v5 game, versus 4 1v1's and a 2v2, despite how some players try to treat it.
