Can we shift some Kog's power to somewhere else?

He has no counterplay if he gets fed. Thornmail sucks vs him. If he gets 4 items, he's just Terminator.

You know, AP kog used to be a thing, which was based on his ultimate, but they gutted that to shift power to his W, soooo, I doubt they will cooperate.

Riot pushed kog'maw to Be that so called "Giga Carry" So yeah, He win's late game. But why is this a problem? Arn't we in the League of Lane bully?

I'm pretty sure I saw an AP Kog come out of the pro scene at one point. So I would be surprised if AP Kog wasn't too far off.

Personally I'd go with an AP/AS hybrid. It just seems like an easy way to get the best of both worlds.

AP kog doesn't exist in the current pro scene. In the past? He used to, but after gutting his ult damages except when used as an execute, he is now a shadow of his former self.

Do you have a link to the game? I'm curious as to what he built, because magic pen kog sure as hell doesn't work anymore. Do note that true ap kog is almost never in range to autoattack, so he won't be building nashors tooth or guinsoo's.

Edit: nevermind, found the game. From what I can see, ap kog'maw really didn't influence the game in Origen's favor. Literally any other midlaner would have worked.

I mean the reason he didn't have any viable outcome in that game is because the team around him lost. xPeke is terrible at ADC and a big reason as to why they are not world contenders this year. Otherwise I think PowerofEvil's Kog could have gone off

Kog'Maw's kit is designed so that he has a weak early game to compensate for his late-game power. If he gets to 4 items, which you should try to stop from happening, he is Terminator.

wtf why would you build thornmail to counter kog'maw? That's almost as irrelevant as saying thornmail sucks against leblanc. Against kog'maw, frozen heart is much better. And righteous glory/talisman/protobelt/QSS is better still
