imo we need to have an open discussion about the system. in many cases it doesnt seem very fair.
my main issue is, that auto filled players arent even matched against auto filled players in the same position.
being pitted against someone on his main, in his main role while throwing you into an off role on a champion you play maybe twice per season is overall pretty shitty.

but critmaster garen how is this different then past seasons of having to fill roles when it pick order meta (prior to season 6)
its different in that it happened a lot more often, and you were usually abe to take a specific scondary role.
since they changed the champion select phase to be able to que up for specific posions, people became a lot more proficient in single roles and worse in off roles overall.

have support/jungle roams to side lanes, 3 man easily in mid and around drake/baron pits easy rotations from top/bot to mid for 4/5 man pushes
duo mid lane roams top/bot
etc
