I wouldn't be so miffed about the ranked reset if promo's didnt exist

Im not happy about having to work myself back up to plat/diamond like I have the previous two seasons but atleast I know I can eventually get back to where I belong.

But having to go through the hellhole that is promotions everytime to rise a tier is where I take issue. Promo's are just a frustrating experience that arbitraily decide that one small segment of games is somehow more important than the rest.

Like currently Iv'e had a run of bad luck in rank with a lot of rager/toxic players (proably due to frustrations from the reset). But I know I need to win the next game to make that loss meaningless. But I get that s**t in my promo's and you will get me wanting to quit anked all together. TL;DR Promo's still suck. Suck even more now that I need to climb through them again

they have change promo's this time around to be fair they seem to of given you more of a chance on your second/third try etc.

however the reason they do the soft reset and make you climb from plat1 upwards is to keep it competitive so all the top players NEED to climb, same as everyone else to get to the top ranks, otherwise the ladder would be extreamly stale and the whole system would crumble, i know the MMR system is not perfect but tbh they do handle it pretty damn well considering.
