I hate to admit it, but Zed actually does require skill to play

Yes, I will admit that he isn't as faceroll as someone like Akali, Katarina, or Talon who just clicks on you and you die. I still hate playing against him (I hate his untarget, poke, safety, and the fact that you can't qss his ult anymore, and the insane amount of damage he gets), but I do have respect for the Zed players. Anyways, that's all I wanted to say.

That's why I don't play him hahahaha. Like... yea I can ult kill people. But Idk wtf to do after I ult and kill the person. Their is like spamming r to 1 shadow or w to another. Blah blah blah idk what to do just going to ult and run. O shit team still needs me? My bad. GG me....

you need to focus on being able to kill without ult. sometimes the ult is a better to be used as an escape that a kill

Zed Zed is a champ that rewards fast thinking as well as positioning. Quick reaction times can help a lot. Also, Zed's ult does little damage on its own. What you want to do is save as much damage potential as you can for your ult because the damage from the "pop" depends on how much damage you put in while the ult is active. This means... you can have three Qs going off (from you, your W shadow, and your R shadow), and your Es, and any basic attacks you can get off, and maybe BotRK active, R back to your shadow when you need the safety and POP! Also figuring out when your damage is enough for the ult to kill is a skill to master in itself.

I'm no master but that's what I've picked up.

I'd recommend looking up Azoh's "Zed School" as well, for Zed practice.

EDIT: Even if this doesn't help your own Zed'ing. This might help you immensely when laning against a Zed, getting to recognize his poke patterns, his CDs, his most successful playstyle so you can then exploit it and keep yourself safe.

Thanks I will check it out. I am more curious to learn how to better play vs a zed and what to expect than actually playing him. Although he is fun.

"skill" First time playing him in 6 months, I picked him in ranked and got an S+. Takes skill indeed

He's been nerfed so much... ... but proper Zed players can still steamroll a game. All the nerfs did were make the gap between good Zeds and bad Zeds even more apparently.

Zed and LeBlanc, I feel, give tremendous reward for proper positioning and just knowing where you want to go.

My first time zed was against a yasuo and I went 6/1 and something. I thought he was too easy to play and overpowered so not really fun, so I haven't played him much since. All you do with him is press r. Such skill. Much wow. Very league.

Yes he's definitely overtuned in his current state. I'm not denying this. But at least he has a few skillshots in his kit, unlike most of the assassins in this game.
