Does anyone else feel CotC is getting too abused on certain champions?

So lately over my games I've noticed that a ton of champions have been abusing the new mastery. Champions like are all obvious but then I start noticing it on other champions, in game and on the boards, like and even . Now I'm fully aware that the mastery has been nerfed so it isn't as powerful early game but with the feeling that any champion with extremely hard CC can just proc it and it does extremely well late game, does anyone else feel like it's getting too abusive? It's just starting to feel like the current meta is starting to turn into another tank meta and from what I've heard about the previous experience that was it isn't that fun. At this point, though the mastery is fun and can be useful, I'm starting to think that making it might have been a mistake, but that's just my opinion.
