They must be OP and broken as hell, or else they wouldn't sell well!
After all, it's not like people buy a champion because they are new and fresh!

I have played with, as and against. In lane you turn the lane into a passive farm fest and do everything in your power to stay safe and deny stacks. Engage with all-ins and not skirmishes. In jungle, counter her with an early game champion with lots of counter-jungling potential, like Lee or Shaco or Nunu. Have them focus on denying Kindred their stacks and counter-ganking. Stay close to whoever they're targeting.
If you face kindred bot try zyra support . Her ult zones herself and that's just what zyra wants.
