Riot you've got to stop with this ward health system on minions

It works fine for things like Gangplank Illaoi Teemo Jhin item 3649 item 2055 item 3363 item 3512

though it is absolutely terrible when implemented in cases like Annie Elise Heimerdinger Ivern Malzahar Mordekaiser Shaco Yorick Zyra

Yes, i know some of the minions in the 2nd list are ults, but that's the point. You wouldn't make important minions have extremely variable durability, ranging from a wet paper bag to a diamond covered in graphene, with a kevlar vest on.

Since when have Tibbers and Daisy had ward health? They have like a champions level worth of health each. Elise spiderlings are supposed to be fragile, Mordekaiser ghosts have the same health as the champion/dragon they take the form of, everything else in that second row is a normal non-ult ability and thusly should be fragile and easy to kill.

Wait spiderlings have ward health???

No, they have small flat health pools, in fact here's the exact numbers.

Health 85 - 390 (based on level) Armor 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 Magic res. 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 Incoming damage modifier 75% damage from area of effect abilities

Holy crap, "when implemented in cases like" doesn't mean they do, it's a statement of conjecture that you could theoretically implement that kind of system on any minions.

What's even worse is that you don't seem to understand that the point wasn't that they were fragile or strong, it's that the pseudo ward health systems, which exist in cases like malz and zyra, are extremely inconsistent in terms of durability. You'd never want to attach that kind of inconsistency to an ability if you can avoid it.

Tibbers, spiderlings, turrets, Daisy, Morde's ghost, Boxes, and ghouls do not have ward health.

Obviously...

Then what's the point of your post? Look at your title for crying out loud. "Riot you've got to stop with this ward health system on minions"

You seem lost or unable to present the issue you're really trying to address.

Two champions of that list have a pseudo ward health system, Malzahar Zyra

the others don't. Those two champions also have insanely inconsistent durability on their respective minions.

The whole list was simply to display all possible champions which could have it implemented and how it's inconsistency would be detrimental to their design and balance.

You claim they have to stop, yet they haven't done that with the majority of champions you listed.

You're either trolling, or highly confused. I'm going with the latter.

Holy shit you're stupid. I stated that the 2nd list only has two champions which have had it implemented. You just seem hung up on the assumption that i think these champions have this system on them, which I had assumed no one would be stupid enough to think that such a fact wasn't common knowledge to literally everyone who plays the fucking game. I was sadly mistaken apparently.

Two champions of that list have a pseudo ward health system, Malzahar Zyra the others don't.

Both of which have resulted in an extremely high variance in minion durability. It would blatantly follow, that if they were to continue this trend of making minions have a ward/pseudo ward health system, you'd continue seeing the same exact problems.

Say that they were to implement it onto Elise Heimerdinger Yorick Shaco... then you'd have the exact same inconsistency problems. The ult minions would be unlikely candidates, i listed them because such a system is conceivable, but that kind of ridiculously stupid decision isn't something i would put past riot considering how long they've failed to remove this flawed system for about a year now, on the only two champions it's ever been put onto.

See, this is new information that wasn't present in the original post.

In fact, the original post strongly implies it's not an "if they were to continue this" but rather a "they did continue this", which is where you lost everyone who has visited the post.

That's where all this confusion comes from.

Frankly speaking, a lot of people, including myself, also had the same thought as what DarkDemon & Paquay mentioned. You were not entirely clear on what the hell you were properly saying at all.
