Matchmaking- is just BREAKING with my premade

What is it that makes matchmaking LOSE ITS MIND when I'm in a 4 or 5 premade with my friends?

This isn't a bug... or is it? It SHOULD be.

Today was tedious. I'm just trying to hang with my bronze and silver buddies playing normals. We're playing quite seriously- coherent together... but there's one big problem.

The enemy team just consistently outranked us today. Gold, Gold, Gold, Diamond, Bronze... Gold, Gold, Diamond, Silver, Bronze.... Gold, Gold, Plat, Plat, Bronze... You know what happens? One or two of my friends end up feeding and they have a miserable time and keep apologizing, feeling like trash and guilty for 'losing the game' when we literally do not have a chance.

How is this OK? Does this happen to everyone else? And what can I do that doesn't involve never playing in a group with my friends?

Riot wont discuss how broken match making is even though we all know it to be true.

I personally dont look at ranks, but sometimes it catchs my Attention that when im with my 2 Premades we almost never seem to get People higher then Gold as Teammates. Maybe thats our MMR, we are all Unranked. But then you hear some of our Teammates complain about the Enemy consisting of a few Plats, Golds, heck a few Diamonds also where there often enough. As i said, i dont check this, but judging by our Teamates complains, those who check, i seem to face the same (Twisted) Fate:

  • The more you are Premade with, the higher Elo the Enemy will have. Have a good Stomp
