Kindred previously had to be the killer of the mark but currently as long as Kindred damages the mark and is killed by a teammate, the mark will count.

so in theory i could play kindred adc and have it work or would i end up being hard carried no matter what?

You could but there's bigger weaknesses to kindred that hold them back from ADC, like losing every 2v2 since most ADCs out damage them and out range them early.

Yeah, provided your enemy support is afk :P Kindred are pretty terrible pre 4 marks and being stapled to the bottom lane makes it even harder for them to contest jungle marks or get to proc them on anyone but the bot lane. Imagine laning as kindred vs draven/lucian and you will no longer have any appetite for it :P

Probably not. Kindred's entire kit is stat checked by their mark system, you get your range, attack speed on Q, damage on W and E with marks, but if you're bot lane you essentially have to win the lane (again hard since you auto lose) or forfeit the CS/reset opportunities taking jungle camps. In the jungle its easier to avoid your problems or play around low health targets/CC lanes/lane priority to get those kind of leads.

kindred has to have damaged the mark within 6 seconds of it dying for it to count, and this is assuming youre willing to give up 3 minions for the botside scuttle (assuming the RNG selects it as the first mark)

Technically, assists for jungle monsters count to marks, but that does not mean you should bot lane with her; she's weak against most enemy marksman and is better suit for roaming, damage ganking, and overall control.

idk i just feel i dont make enough of a difference in jungle no matter how hard i try theres that game is decided already by the time my power becomes somewhat relevant. meanwhile a lee sin can easily control early/mid game too well i wanna master kindred but the stats-wise is hard to do.

Honestly, this is not a farming jungle friendly meta; everyone is being forced to duel as early as possible to eque out an early advantage...only for mid or top lane to snowball hard and instawin anyway. In short; not the meta right now.

As long as jungle is in a balance flux, Kindred has a chance to come back, directly or indirectly. Still, you could try gathering a team to center around Kindred, which may alleviate a bit of the trouble.

how do you center a team around someone who definitely needs to farm marks or get the essential 3 items they need.
