I mean, does anyone really feel they got outplayed when he gets a few kills early off a lane and then snowballs out of control? Its so unsatisfying to play against him. Now even more obnoxious with the new GA.
He can build attack speed, GA and a tank items because he does true damage. Point and click,, Alpha strike to evade damage...im not saying hes broke or OP, but I am saying that its ANNOYING to play against him.

awesomer1111 votesBut when you think about it, out of the 50 most played champs (as of right now), there are really only a few with more than 1 hard CC. There's a massive difference between 1 and 2 CC's mainly because (if they are a good yi,) they will most likely Q you while the skillshot/missle/auto animation is rolling. Additionally, a many comps do not have any CC aside from their Top and their Sup.

But if he were to go against a team such as Braum, Xayah, Orianna, Vi, Riven, very CC heavy in a 5v5 he wouldn't be able to kill the squishes fast enough even if he dodges one skill, they have great follow up and usually if you're not drafting CC in a comp then he'll thrive in a 5v5.
awesomer1111 votesI guess he does get popped pretty hard if he goes complete ham on them, but he still does have a team that has heals, shields, CC, higher burst than him, etc. In a teamfight, yi does have sustain, and chances are you won't be focusing a full 5 or 6 seconds to him, because by then, the yi's mid and adc have already shredded through the xayah, ori, or vi.
My point is that yi is a nuisance when he has a team. But then again, most yi's try to "1v1" the enemy xayah, ori, braum, riven, and vi at the same time.

BALDG1VEN BOOMER1 votesThat's a late game fantasy which Isn't reached very often, you're average game time in most elo is 25 minutes so if you let Yi have a farm fiesta until then, then that's your mistake
GA only gives 30 armor now, and the health from Randuins was cut down by a lot.
On a side note if you want to make accusations against "these people on the boards" you're here complaining about Yi when there's much worse champions to complain about.
Joxcab1 votesCC him once and he dies. He gets tank items and his damage goes to shit. The only "tanky" items he can use are things like Mercurial Scimitar, Maw of Malmortius/Hexdrinker, Guardian Angel, Phantom Dancer, etc.
Of course it feels annoying if you give him a free win comp to play against with no CC.
