Tone Down Nasus's Slow Please Riot.

Second thread about this, I'm going to probably make this thread once a day if I can.

Ok guys, I understand that you love Nasus like you do your Zed's, Lee Sin's, and Riven's. I get that ok? Nasus is a cool champion, he looks badass, and has good voice acting. I agree.

But his slow is practically a perma-slow once he gets some CDR like lets say Iceborn and such? Not only is it a perma slow at that point, but it's a near 100% slow. So basically by late game, you're screwed. You will be slowed, and probably 1 shotted if the Nasus has a good amount of stacks, or be killed by his team.

I mean, hell, even playing Ekko, you cannot escape his slow once he puts it on you. You can dash with E sure, but that's a short dash compared to this 100% slow being put on you.

Anyhow, not only is it a near 100% slow, it's more so a point and click which is more disturbing.

So riot can you actually address this and fix his slow? It should not be a 100% slow, or at the very least be a perma slow cause once it wears off on you... He's able to just point and click again on you and slow you again and the 2nd time he does it, he's already caught up to you.

So you nerfed Skarner's slow and have reworked it and all, now it's time to nerf Nasus some. He's gone under the radar for too long. Compensate him if you must, but address the slow, cause it's too much and you shouldn't have to just build against one particular part of a champions kit.

It's also his only way to stay within range of you. He doesn't have four gap closers like Riven or some instant blink that puts him near his target. He has to manually walk around to get to his targets, potentially the slowed ones.

Yeah, you think I don't understand that? The problem is that it's a near 100% slow which means you are slowed to the slowest amount in the game. Now it wouldn't be so much of a problem if it wasn't a perma slow, but since he abuses iceborn and spirit and other items like other tanks, this skill from him intrinsically becomes unhealthy. Don't you understand that all?

So yes, he should have a slow. Riot should either A: Make it 50% or so where you got means of escaping, or B: Increase the CD on the slow so he can't just use it again once it wears off you because he can, and he will. Seeing that Iceborn, Spirit Visage and all most likely will stay in the game, his CD needs increased on that skill.

How would you feel if Skarner still had his perma 100% slow? How about someone like Darius if he had a 100% slow that could be basically used to keep you from getting away? Yes he gots his pull and shit but hypothetically, he shouldn't be allowed to have it be a PERMA slow. The CD is too low at that point, and given how much damage Nasus can do, it's unhealthy.

This doesn't become an issue until late game, which is Nasus' strong point. Shut down his farm better or punish their team for nasus staying in lane for a fortnight by ganking and pushing mid when you can.

It's like indirect counter-play

kind of like beating a master yi. You have to plan ahead to prevent their strength from being realized (don't let yi get fed, and punish his team for him farming jungle so much to get sated)

I hate captain obvious posts like this. That DOES NOT EXCUSE what he can do. Late game or not, typically Nasus will have his Iceborn and Spirit Visage before the 20 minute mark, or at least 1 of the items, still by that point, the CD of the slow is stupid broken for a point and click 100% slow.

So basically, it's ok to be broken in your eyes? Lets say we created a champion that can 1 shot anyone no matter what at level 1 even, just 1 shot. I guess you're gonna say "Well, stay out of his way, gank other lanes, don't lane against him?" right.. That does not excuse the fact that he can do what he does and this applies to Nasus.

Well Nasus doesn't 1 shot at level 1 xD. Nasus is one of those champions that do well in solo Q (or people not in premades in dynamic Q) because you need to be PROACTIVE to take advantage of his weaknesses rather that REACTIVE.

Here's a guide:

Early game: stay in Lane vs nasus

unload on him when he goes in for stacks OR if you are a zoning champ like heimer or morde, zone him away OR poke him to death (gnar/teemo)

Mid game: shove the wave when he backs to deny farm, gank mid if possible.

Late game: create situations that force group fights; nasus's team will be a serious disadvantage since he's playing farmville getting stacks away from the group

When he does finally join the fray, or when you decide to crash his party top lane, have someone on the team build a BOTRK to ruin his day.

Profit.

Alot of Champions have a bullshit mechanic that requires strategy. nasus's slow, kalistas dashes, teemo's kiting, master yi's kit LOL, blitzcranks pull, fizz's troll pole etc.

the counterplay we're forced into is what makes this game so fun :)
