Remind me why we let Zilean be a utility control mage with decent AP ratios but...

how many damage abilities does he have ?

Last i checked, lulu can chunk an adc for half hp by 10 min with no ap

Edit: Also half of lulus damage is very easy to land, zileans q not so much

Zilean has literally one damaging spell that's why

because Q is his only damaging ability. All of lulu's abilities do damage, minus her ult. She has a TARGETED disable, skillshot slow, and i forgot what her other ability even did to enemy champs but it was targeted as well, and her auto attacks get scaling damage based on AP ratios as well.

Zilean does not get any scaling damage on any abilities other than Q, in fact only his Q and ult scale on AP.

so, please, tell me again why zilean should not have decent ratios on a kit where only one ability does damage and is ground placement skillshot that is like not even the size of one soraka Q?

Mostly because of her massive, easy, spammable, slowing waveclear/nuke.

The targeted forever stun and ridiculously safe and easy AA harass was also a contributing factor.

Face it, solo lane Lulu was and is cancer.

He has two land 2 Q's. Not so easy compared to Lulu who also has a clickable shield, hp, health boost, plymorh, slow, AND high base damage. Lets not forget, all are easy to land....

1 AP ratio compared to 3, yeah, lets make the argument here. Lets also factor in how HARD a zilean q is to fucking land.

Not that I care if Lulu ever becomes solo anymore, but they're both supports turned mid-lane - that's why I made the comparison.

Zilean's Q costs 60-80 mana to cost and a good Zilean can land them pretty efficiently, with a 90% AP ratio. Currently, if you added the two damage ratios on Lulu's kit (not counting passive, which can be BLOCKED anyway), they add up to 90% as well. Lulu's ult only gives 600 hp + 50% ap vs Zilean's mini-GA that gives 1100 + 200% AP ratio. That's very likely enough to heal a carry fully if it's an AP Zilean. And since Zilean as well as Lulu have to land their Qs, there's no argument there. Infact, Zilean has 2 Qs when he gets near level 2, which is a 180% AP Ratio instead and very likely hit them once he levels up his slow as well, similar to Lulu.

So apart from this board's ignorance, can someone remind me?

EDIT: I don't really care about her polymorph. It's single-target - the damaging abilities are aoe and Q is extremely spammable on Zilean after some cdr, with a high chance of hitting when he gets his slow maxed to become root-like.
