Why in god's name is nautilus getting nerfed before lux.

I'm not even going to argue that nautlilus isn't deserving of some nerfs....he's obviously too strong right now. His win rate speaks for itself. But lux has been rocking a ridiculous win rate for well over a year and hasn't been nerfed. She only has one negative matchup in the entire game in talon (literally the only matchup with a winning percentage vs her).

She gets lcs play as well so that can't be used as an excuse.

She is way too safe for the kind of reward she gets. There's no drawbacks to being the safest champion in the game while also being able to blow up a squishy 100-0 mid/late game from a mile away.

Im honest to god tired of seeing her every damn game.

Lux is a squishy, immobile mage who relies entirely on skillshots and good positioning. She might be strong, but there is counterplay to her. They need to bring other mages up to Lux's level, not nerf her. She's probably the gold standard for a well-designed mage. Good kit, rewarding if played well, requires skill but not korean pro level skill, a fair mix of damage and utility, obvious weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Every mage should be like Lux... strong if you let her do things the way she wants but vulnerable if you can put her in a bad position or play around her strengths and exploit her weaknesses.

Naut however, sits top and bludgeons you with his stat-stick if you walk anywhere near him. There isn't much counter to him other than avoiding him like the plague and waiting for him to become less oppressive. He's a HARD cc tank, meant to be used for lockdown, peel and utility. He's not also supposed to out-damage nearly every other champ he goes up against. Lux does what she's designed to do and you can beat her if you're skilled or lucky. Naut is just a pile of stats that beats you to death AND provides his team an absurd amount of utility.

Lux is strong, Naut is completely oppressive.

While Lux's E is massive, you can still outplay it, and the rest of Lux's kit is easily avoidable, resulting in zero damage. Risk/reward is somewhat justified.

Naut just sits top in a melee dominant lane (or has ways to force you melee anyways), presses E and outtrades you. Nothing you can do about it beyond "don't farm, sux to melee xd"

I mean, the way I play Lux when I'm salty is just sit at tower and only farm with E and Ult, so I see that being frustrating, but how is that any different from a lot of other wave clearing mages?

Lux will probably just get an early Q rank (1-4) duration nerf, if anything.

However she doesn't need it. Dodging her Q is simple, she's squishy even with her shield, heavy mana cost, and E you can still avoid it even with immobile mages and her ulti is heavily telegraphed.

Lux doesnt even take skill. ''skill shots'' Her E is so big that you cant really miss it. Then once you slow them you can land stun easier. then she does it from a mile away. and then has a shield. gg

Watch Riot make a Lux skin so everyone buys it and she is spammed in rank and norms. no escaping the cancer

Because Naut bursts just as good as a Lux but he's supposed to be a tank.
