We got slightly lower base AD for Ekko.

We got a buff revert for Gnar and a slight nerf to his E early game.

Top lane gonna be so interesting for worlds this year.

Ekko yes, but probably not Gnar. The huge CD on his E would be abused since pro players will gank early, sometimes 2-3 times. However Gnar is such an important champ late that they could just safe farm.

The nerf to his hop shouldn't hurt too bad, it might make playing against his counters (Irelia, Wukong, Pantheon) a little bit tougher since his lane becomes a little less safe but he isn't played right now because of his hop. If anything, the nerf to his Hyper damage would be what hurts his playrate since that's the bread and butter for Gnar in lane. I don't really expect it to make him weak or UP, he'll just become more of a matchup specific or team comp specific pick rather than pick/ban level.

The Gnar changes may have some effect, although I'd doubt it will be significant. The Ekko nerfs are an absolute joke. TBH I'm really worried about Ekko, because Riot's been nerfing the champs who can sort of cope with him like GP and Shen into the ground so Ekko just gets to run around uncontested, or hopefully permabanned.
