Just wondering if its actualy possible to jump directly from S2 to G5 if your MMR is high enough? OP.gg says my MMR is extremely high for my division and even says I will skip a tier

Snowball4u1 votesyour mmr needs to be very high, (by that i mean consistantly playing with almost all plats) Technically it is possible, but you probably wont.
My guess is that you will get to silver 1, then not have to play promos into gold 5.
After that if you continue to climb consistantly, you will jump to g3/g2 (skipping g4 and/or g3)

well issue is your mmr was in the shitter for being a shitter for years as you put it. now if you get silver 1 and next season you do your placement games and you go 8-2, 9-1, 10 you can be placed gold 3 or so and by pass silver next season.

Dynikus1 votesno, you can't skip division 1 or divison 5 of any elo. if you're s2, no matter how high your mmr, you'll go to s1, and after s1, g5. In addition to that, the most you can skip is 1 division, so s5>s3, or s4>s2 for example. In a very small percentage of cases you can skip promos though.
