Majority of those aren't even tanks just fighters who can snowball

And most of them aren't that hard to play against either. Illaoi, sometimes Jax, and sometimes Kench or Malphite. Otherwise, it's rare to get a headache from the others...

Because you have no resistances and no hp? I used to play tank Rengar and there was one game where I tried to fight tank Jarvan and Braum, We fought several minutes while both teams were spectating (and their Olaf came and killed me with true dmg and one axe).

Tanks deal a lot of damage because the smarter ones are wailing on squishies with no armor or MR. If you are lucky, you picked up someone who can use TF or IBG really well.

Because most tanks that do the kind of damage you are complaining about are lacking severely in another area. Its called a power budget lets look at 2 different tanks Shyvana and Sejuani . Both these champions are fairly durable I.E. tanks but they have different roles in the tank community. Shyvana has the job of chasing down the carry and killing it with he high damage output. But by kiting and peeling her you can stop her from doing her job due to her lack of dashes and mobility outside of her ult and her inability to lock down a target because she lacks in cc. So you could say in terms of power budget she is heavily invested in damage and durability but has minimal investment in utility and mobility Sejuani has the job of providing heavy cc for her team. But by keeping vision and positioning well you can mitigate her cc thus stopping her from doing her job. She has decent mobility which lets her position to ult. So she invests heavily in utility and durability with slight investment in mobility but very low investment in damage. The issue comes from champions who are able to invest to heavily in multiple strengths which severely overcompensate for their weaknesses.
