Give mages another item with armor

Considering that buffing lethality broke the meta (e.g. Zed, Graves, Talon, Kha' Zix, etc.), I think it would only be fair to give mages another item with armor + ap if you're not going to nerf lethality. I find it unfair that AD bruisers can build Maw + Edge of Night + Mercurial Scimitar, which basically makes them immune to AP burst while also giving them more damage, while AP casters only get Zhonya's, which is a pretty good item, but can only do so much against assassins. Why not give them that extra item? It only seems fair in this God-forsaken meta.

Assassins are meant to counter mages, aren't they?

Also, you have range. Use it to your advantage. Mages can buy item 3102 for the passive and health too.

Assassins counter pretty much everyone at the moment. Also, "you have range" is so bs. Zed, Talon, Graves, KhaZix, and others have some form of gap closer that makes range not an issue for them. I could buy a banshee's veil... but for what reason? I mean I'm talking about more armor not MR but okay. That being said, it's incredibly unfair that AD lethality abusers get a free banshees veil PLUS damage on top of that. There are so many reasons to introduce more efficient ways to get armor for mages.

You get a banshees to block that first part of Talon's Q, or Grave's Q, or Zed's Q whatever. You use it for the spellshield and health, taking out one ability which is huge.
