Any Planned Changes for Kalista?

As probably all of us know, Kalista's kit is completely overloaded; therefore, she was completely gutted and forgotten. I used to play her quite a bit, but now she's absolute garbage. So, my question is: What's next for her? You can't just leave her as if she is an Urgot or something. It's unhealthy for the game. Will Riot rework her? They certainly wont buff her considering her past state of being. Especially seeing that she just got a new skin, what's next for her? I'm tempted to buy the SKT skin, but will I be able to even use it? Or will she be the next Urgot/Yorick? FeelsBadKalista

It's gotta be rework at this point.

Kalista design doesn't allow her to be buffed as she is.

Dunno if she needs a full scale rework or just a passive one though.

I know she's trash. And I say yay for that because Kalista is more frustrating to play against than Shaco and LeBlanc when she's strong, and that's saying something.

I also say "yay" to her being nerfed, but I say "nay" to just leaving her in the dust. I would love to see a rework of her kit (Specifically Passive and R) instead of a random buff

I don't think they should keep her as she is. Instead, I would love to see a rework of her kit, specifically Passive and Ultimate. They are, arguably, the two main things that made Kalista overpowered pre-nerfs.

Well if you look at her kit (Specifically look up more about her Passive, W, and R), you can see that all of those abilities have more than 1 effect on Kalista; therefore, her kit is very overloaded. By the way, I certainly don't hate Kalista because I used to play her a lot. Now, I am curious about the future of her gameplay. And yes I agree, she is unfun to play against BECAUSE of her overloaded kit. I don't use overloaded as a "hate" term against champions. I cant say that Darius is overloaded because well uh... hes not compared to other champions (Although I hate him very much)

Except she was adjusted not only for LCS, but because literally no player in the game wants to play vs a Kalista, regardless of power level. She is one of the most irritating champions in the game, having what many champs have on a CD, as her passive whenever she auto attacks.

When Kalista is good, the game is in her hands to lose, not anyone else's. If you don't literally build an entire comp around beating her, she will win by default if she is good as her.

Shes not absolute garbage, she can wreck juggernauts hard. But she still needs buffs so she can do good against other types of champs. But a Kalista vs a Juggernaut, both going the same, Kalista has an advantage.

the best thing riot could do is just change her passive and increase her range i would like her to be imobile and be similar to kog but instead of just trying to do the most DPS make all the autos lead up to a gaint Rend stack damage and have her rely on her team completely i mean thats what she was supposed to be wasnt she?

prolly should remove some shit from her kit to fit a legit theme of veangeance. The "bond" and "contract" crap is well done, the rest is random garbage and utter impossible to balance bullshit.

She's just a competitive champion.

Riot should give up and balance the LCS completely separately from our games. Just let the pros keep playing on NATR so they can practice with their balancing and then Kalista, Rek'Sai and Nidalee can be buffed safely.

U say she is "gutted" some one else would say she is balanced.

Theres no dout shes garbage for solo plays 1v1 against say varus but this is a team game

And she still reks with the right setting / summoner

If u disagree thats fine

Just wait with eveyone else who feels that way for a minor buff cause thats all she would get if anything

Flavorful champ, another champ with a revolutionary kit for the time when said champ was released. Riot( a certain champ designer) pushed mobility creep with Yasuo and Kalista. Kali is going to be abused in competitive gameplay if she gets buffed, unfortunatly. As a champ, infinite kiting( sorta dashing) is broken. ADCs with a lot of self- peel are really toxic; Vayne, Luc pre E nerf, Kindred pre nerf, and of course, Kalista.

When looking at a win rate you also need to look at the pick rate. She is gutted, and I don't think many people would argue that she should be balanced in her current state. It's important to be honest with yourself when looking at a champion, even if you have nightmares from facing them before.

Kalista probably has the most broken passive in the game. When you're playing against someone who really knows what they're doing, it is so frustrating and needed to be nerfed. On the other hand Kalista is probably the least independent marksman without her strong passive, which really hurts you in solo queue ranked. I can't imagine that would help her pick rate. That's also why I think a straight buff anywhere else won't bring the desired results. She does need a rework.
