i would be fine with this if every time my jungler comes to gank we don't get melted by her ult, last time it took 3 of us to take down 1 unfed illaoi with nothing more then a . i get most of her damage comes from her ult but she is suppose to be a tank, what other tank has that kind of level 6 power without some sort of condition like daruis passive stacks or garens villian passive, i can't even get close to her without losing the fight immediately post 6 and pre 6 she just shakes off any poke damage i do to her, she just so frustrating to fight against. her early game power needs to be toned down with either lower base armor or lower numbers on her lv 6 ult, it maybe my lack of knowledge against her but i've never had this much trouble against a new champion.

except she's not a tank, She's a Juggernaut. And it's still conditional. Where the condition is the number of champions hit. And it's still reliant of her enemies staying withing range of the summoned tentacles. (which she lacks lockdown.)

Her counter is finesse. Kite, kill her tentacles. And she isn't even that tanky without her tentacles since she relies on them for her sustain. Don't group up to avoid her powerful ult. And keep clear when she is ulting.

I find the new champ not that hard to counter, but i am a low elo so maybe thats why i haven't had a hard time. She feels like a rene or something along those lines, just don't get that spirit taken lol

rene is much more tolerable then her

i feel like they should make it so that if illaoi autos your spirit, it counts as autoing you as far as creep aggro goes

EDIT: would be nice QOL for her opponents i feel.

Tanks with "that kind of level 6 power" may include but are not limited to: DrMundo TahmKench Volibear

This is on my understanding of what you are calling a tank (health stacking damage tank) as opposed to a true tank True Tanks being utility champs who focus on getting the enemy to focus them and then reducing incoming damage: Zac Rammus Alistar Malphite Maokai among others.

I see Illaoi as more of an Olaf than a Maokai as far as her ideal damage - defense balance. Illaoi is weak to burst and hard disengage, much in the same way Zac is.
