Why is winning a bot game worth more XP than losing in PVP?

A big part of what makes lost games feel like such wastes of time is that players hardly get anything out of them. They take longer to queue for, they take longer in champion select, and they take a lot longer to finish, all for relatively much less XP, especially in a loss, which happens roughly half the time.

Meanwhile bot games crank out levels and honors at a higher return rate and with much less downtime between games.

If at the very least PVP games rewarded more XP even on a loss, the time spent would result in more tangible rewards.

I think its just so people who want to play the game but are too afraid of playing pvp don't feel discouraged for not doing it yet. (New/Anxiety player friendly)

And even then, im sure riot would PREFER to shuv everyone into a 10 player match for the sake of the servers (if that's how it works) But they clearly have a reason to support co-op in general more than they even support dominion or twisted treeline.

I tend to think of it like this, normals is medium / low stress with generally a more dynamic opponent/experience, ranked is for the competitive/formal feeling, co-op is for the friendly / chill grind (I would call normal chill too but that would be a lie with the amount of toxic players still there)
