Is shyvana any good still
Shyvana was my first champion. When I started playing in October 2015, I played shyvana top then she stopped working top. I then realized how strong of a jg she was. When i actually got good as a jg, I started to destroy. Especially when sated came out until udyr and yi blew my cover. Pros
- just as fast as udyr's clears.
- good at counter jungling and controll jg.
- molbility
- tanky
- splitpushes pretty damn good. Almost udyr status
- good duelist
- mixed damage and hard to build against
- versatile build paths
- % on hit damage built in
- easy to pick up Cons
- easily kited
- no cc
- has a gold requirement
- buggy ult hitbox
What riot has turned shyvana into is a super high variance feast or famine jg. If shyvana out farms and gets a few kills along the way, she is pretty damn good. If she is dennied too much, you will fall off pretty hard and you are useless. This kind of play style is kind of detrimental to being a bruiser. Shyvana has a molbility build, on hit, damage, as build, and full tank. The gold requirement is the reason rageblade is bad on her so that shut down the idea of having a pseudo devour. You've basically turned a bruiser into a late game hypercarry. The thing is in some cases if you know your matchups you can destroy. Like if you are up against a niddalee, Graves, kindred, or trundle, you will have issues. But let's say your up against someone like amumu who is basically bronzodia but prone to invades. Xin zhao since you out damage early, eve since her clears suck early and she's squishy, or malphite who has super slow clears, she will crush. Her current winrate is around 50% so she's pretty well balanced. So is she good in certain cases like when she can out farm or just straight up a bad champion in general.
