Stupid idea time: Make Lulu's ult scale based on target's max or current HP, not a flat value.
Short version: Tanks and HP stackers get more bonus HP when Lulu ults you. OR The lower HP you have, the less bonus HP you get.
Longer version: Instead of gaining 300/450/600 bonus HP upon casted, targets gain 150/225/300 + (10% of max or current HP) bonus HP instead. (Actual values can be adjusted but I'm just making up some numbers)
Lulu's ult should be more about empowering tanks, frontliners, and the like to engage and knockup, not a heal tool. This punishes inexperienced Lulu players should they misuse it, therefore adding some more risk to her kit instead of blindly throwing every spell onto one carry and expect results (ahem
).
Either version (current or max HP based) or even both would actually add some skill expression.
How stupid/not stupid would this sound?

The numbers were fairly arbitrary, but there SHOULD be a nerf when casted on squishies. Early game can have a smaller (~50HP) nerf, while later game becomes even more punishing.
On tanks it should be an overall buff, but I can probably adjust to 15%-20% max HP.

Or instead of freaking out, we can make the values on squishies have a smaller nerf (like -50HP from original) while later game the difference from original becomes greater.
I have considered that because in lane, yes, ult is more useful heal-wise, but it should NOT be the basis of how every single time Lulu uses her ult outside lane, which is something that a lot of players have been doing and getting away with it completely. The point of that change is to make it so that she has to decide on who to actually ult instead of blindly throwing everything onto her ADC, do nothing else, and get carried.
