So you think Fizz is balanced....

Lugg··4 votes·1,294 views

Not a QQ thread, the Fizz was on my team.

He was top against a 2v1 lane of Nasus and Teemo. They were both staying in lane to deny him farm. I was the jungler and went to help him top after he got killed, and that it was obvious they weren't going anywhere. We got a kill on Nasus and got him a wave of farm before I went back jungling. Off of that one kill, he then went 23/2/8 against two champions at once.

But naw, Fizz is balanced.

"I had one game where a Fizz did good therefore he is overpowered"

In other news, a champion based around an item powerspike and levels does really good when they have a lane of farm to themself and are facing 2 opponents who are weakening their experience amount. In even more news, assassins do remarkably well when the opponents they are facing don't have hard CC.

You see this in plenty of games. You know it, and I know it. You say item powerspikes? HE HAD NO ITEMS FOR THE FIRST 3 KILLS!

Its not about had to 1v2 in bronze 5. Fizz just have big snowball potencial. Totaly balanced, not even tier 1 champ.

This wasn't a Bronze match.

ROFL you're acting like theres a difference between bronze and silver. You just got lucky with your placements on your smurf. Your team simply carried you to silver since you're a support main.

just looked him up he's bronze 5 so I'm confused where the silver came from. but ya... he is showing how bad he is now.

Lugg1 votes

Oh, I see now. Your are one of those people that think supports have no impact on winning the game. I guess you don't know that the MVPs on the last two World Champion teams were the supports. This just shows that really have no clue what you are talking about when it comes to game knowledge.

You aren't too bright are you. Anyways the ENEMY team was bad. Fizz got solo xp while the other two were behind because it was a duo lane. 2nd, as Neme pointed out Nasus didn't build any MR. Fizz counters Nasus regardless of whether or not he goes AP or AD. 3rd, blowing up teemo is easy on fizz. Fizz in general has a pretty consistent game play which is why he is so heavily played but is not even close to a tier one champ. Like Zed its a matter of knowing his counter play which the majority of people who bother to ever utter the words "x champion is OP" rarely ever try to do. They would rather blame the game than figure out how to beat the champion. One way is to CC the hell out of fizz which other than nasus wither and teemos shrooms they really couldn't do. Also, nasus wasn't able to stack as well because he had another lane mate and teemo wasn't able to farm well for the same reasons. It's not difficult to see why fizz came out a head.

No. It's my from start 'till now. Why u ask? Couse i dont see much difference between bronse-A.I and silver-normals? Maybe im wrong about bronze, i wasn't there since season 1. Wanna know little secret? "Blame yourself or blame noone." Nunu

While I am definitely not a pro at league, I am pretty good. Probably Gold level worthy according to friends I play with that are Plat and Diamond. Bronze is absolutely brutal right now. Even really good players have said that, since you can't get decent win streaks going.

Silver 4 last season did bad in provisionals and placed in bronze 5, I'm now in silver 1 if I win my next game. Don't give us the 'you can't climb out' crap. It's all about yourself and not the terrible teams.

ssjx3squall3 votes

Not to mention that fizz counters nasus...

Lugg1 votes

Not when there is a teemo there as well.

My one problem with him is his e with Zhonya's. It's a giant "fuck you" without any consequences. Make cooldowns freeze as well during Zhonya's and I might be fine with his bullshit damage.

Adanim2 votes

He has a 49.33% win rate with a 13.43% pick rate on average in all tiers and regions. 13% is a HUGE pick rate. He is being played a lot and losing more than half of those games. He is no where near overpowered.

Lugg1 votes

I bet the win rate for Fizz mains is well above 53%. The overall win rate includes people who don't know how to play him. That has a BIG impact on champs that take lots of practice to get down.

I find it hilarious how much people complain about assassins when you can blow them up so fast. I know I'm only silver but the bronze mentality is strong in this game

Lugg1 votes

Did you not read the post at all? Fizz isn't squishy at all. Two champions couldn't beat him even when he was behind.

dude... fizz is squishy his team just sucked. period

Lugg1 votes

How did his team suck? Never talked about that at all in the post. BTW, the Fizz team was great.

stealthfox941 votes

The thing people seem to forget about Fizz is that if he gets behind he basically makes every teamfight a 4 v 5.

Lugg1 votes

The whole problem is that Fizz RARELY gets behind if the player is competent at all.

stealthfox941 votes

Fizz rarely gets fed if the people he's playing against are competent. This argument is also valid.

Lugg1 votes

True. However if the one champion is stronger than the other, the player on the weaker champion has a much harder time overcoming that than the skill level of his or her opponent.

Velkoz Reloaded1 votes

He's an assassin. They're kinda meant to win fights. And he picks one target and one target only. Do I think he's fun to play against? Hell no. Balanced? Sadly...

Lugg1 votes

1v1, no problem, but 2v1 when he isn't fed, and behind in kills, and behind in CS. No, there should be no way in hell a balanced champ can do that.

ZACKandATTACK1 votes

IMO Fizz needs a gameplay Rework, but that will never happen. So I'm happy with him in his current state, where he is only strong if he snowballs hard.

Lugg1 votes

The problem is that he snowballs pretty much every game.

But naw, Fizz is balanced.

So you have two champions sharing farm and experience, with one of them (Nasus) being severely dependent on farming well to be strong, against a champion who managed to snowball off of a gank and was getting all the farm and experience to himself.

There's a reason 2v1 lanes are not meta. I could have done the same thing with Darius.

Lugg1 votes

That would have been fine, BUT the Nasus was up 2 kills when he got the one for Fizz and Teemo had 2 assists. So they had some gold and experience. If Fizz can snowball off 1 kill, he definitely needs gutted.

Here you go :D

Okay, so I see the issue here.

It was AP Fizz, and Nasus built literally no magic resist. None at all. No, literally fucking none.

Neither did Teemo, who for some reason had another fucking stinger in his inventory after he already had a Nashor's, lol.

Nasus apparently didn't notice that Fizz started with a Doran's Ring and itemized for AD Fizz.

Lugg1 votes

Nasus was probably building for the rest of our team since we had a Yasou and Jinx.Hhe probably thought that Fizz wouldn't be a problem since he had Teemo in lane. At least that's what I would guess.

Good analysis though. It explains why Fizz was destroying him.

ssjx3squall1 votes

who the hell is lung talking too? he just keeps replying and i have no idea wtf he's getting at lol

Manwalrus1 votes

hmm so he did WELL eh, better nerf him when he had farm and experience advantage because of the 2v1 also he might even be a GOOD player. Because 1 bronze 5 Elo game is an effective way to judge Balance. Better nerf Fizz.

Lugg1 votes

The farm and experience would definitely kick in at some point but he was killing them without any significant gap. BTW, it wasn't a B5 game because it wasn't on this account.

Manwalrus1 votes

What do you mean "eventually" in a 1v2 the 1 has increased experience gain from the start and the 2 need to compete for cs, it puts the fizz at an advantage from the start and fizz like all other assassins snowballs hard.
