So, why doesn't Ashe's ult have an AD ratio and her Volley a chance to crit at say, a 50-75% crit dmg rate?

If volley had a crit chance, and she had focus at max stacks, it would be a guaranteed AoE crit... I know she feels lackluster to a lot of people but this would be crazy ._. plus you couldn't hold your stacks by using volley instead of AAs...

an AD ratio on Enchanted crystal arrow would be nice I guess but I think it doesn't have one because you use the spell for its utility not its damage, giving it an AD ratio would create situations where Ashe would be using her ult to increase her dps instead of shooting for that sweet stun that changes teamfights before they begin, all in all if they gave it AD scaling it'd be a very small one.

I agree with the ult not having an AD ratio, but I feel like Ashe could use a bit of a tune-up. For me if I don't have a very strong early game, it is really hard for me to be effective late game. I think one thing Riot could do to improve Ashe would be to edit her passive so it only resets when it hits champions. It's a minor change that I think would give her a stronger presence in lane without making her out of control. Because I'm sure there are enough times when her passive does hit a champion instead of minions, but if it were to be guaranteed to only effect champs, it would improve Ashe's influence in-lane.

yeah her passive is pretty odd, I pitched a suggestion a while ago where frost shot's Autoattacks didn't stop Focus and she could autoattack minions with focus ready if she had frost shot toggled on. People dislike the fact that she had to spend mana for having a useful passive but I still think it'd be fair for having a guaranteed crit, the downside would be that you'd have to turn frost shot off when you wanted to proc focus.

In this current meta, Ashe has no kill potential at all. In a meta where every new ADC has some sort of escape method, Ashe needs a power increase.

"No kill potential at all"? She has the best crit chance of any ADC level one thanks to her passive (as in usually a guaranteed crit) and she has the utility to keep people in range for much longer than any other ADC could. Kill potential is not the problem for her. The problem is that other ADCs and supports are super aggressive early for an early snowball, or are a tad strong right now and ultimately out-scale her (like Trist). You don't need an escape method. Jinx is the last ADC released--she has no reliable escape and all her CC has a wind-up time. Kog is popular right now and he only has the small slow.

Ashe is not in a terrible spot right now; just because she isn't seen competitively doesn't mean she is bad. If she has the right support and team around her, she can be a pretty good ADC.

Whatever you say, until she gets some kind of up scaling she'll be a champion that no one uses. Especially in tournaments.

Volley already is incredible powerfull, buffing it would be ridiculous. And her ult is pretty much balanced around the basedmg...it has a huge impact already and makes her 1v1 lategame quite scarry + adds a lot of kill-potential in lane. If anything her passive could be a little more combat-effective and maybe they coudl add some slight ad-scaling-dmg on her autohits via the e.

Neither of those suggestions are what Ashe needs.
In my opinion, she needs to be tweaked to be the answer to high mobility, give her a stronger slow and +5movespeed and I guarantee you she will fly up smite down all that mobility bs while still having enough counterplay to not be op -_-

The problem with that is that if Ashe has an even stronger slow low-mobility champs will never be able to catch her. Champions like Sion, Warwick, Darius and Olaf would be left in the dust. If you buff her to deal with the champions that were created to deal with her, the champions she was already crushing will stand less of a chance against her than ever.
