Start with cloth armor and 4 health potions. I was literally struggling against Yasuo with Vladimir's weak early game until I started doing this.

Nice post, but the "literally" is literally useless in your sentence. See what I did there? :) In your case the word literally does a poor job at emphasizing your struggle. A stronger word you could've used is "desperately."

And if you're having trouble against him late game just buy randuins and Thorn mail. It all seems so obvious now. Who would've thunk?

Eh, this is not an optimal start for most AP midlaners, as it'd be very easy to run OOM. If I'm laning against Yasuo (or Zed, Talon) as Katarina, however, I do like taking cloth armor at the start. Helps me trade better, personally, and that's 300 less gold I have to put towards a Zhonya's. :)

Also, even with the cloth armor Yasuo's early is REALLY strong for how much lategame he has, but most champs can beat him in the mid-game.
