This is actually already a thing. If you ping or it will show the charges. For it will of course show ward charges and will show remaining CD

It doesn't show the gold share CDs though, which is more important in the laning phase. I want to tell my ADC "Hey don't go ham and kill that siege minion because my relic shield is almost ready and I want gold" with a single ping, instead of having to type that out.

It's not that bad. He has other forms of protection now so his heal has to be compensated for that. Also his passive takes it right off cool down so you can get multiple heals off. It's not the same but it's definitely not shit. It shows more skill expression to keep someone alive than say a Soraka.

I wonder does his heal get any better if you stack %Heal items like Ardent, Redemption that you wouldn't really want.

They could test allowing both Qs to stack.

I like this thought. Maybe they could find some sort of middle ground somehow?

Here's an idea:

1. Buff the heal, by making it scale a little bit more with ability power, but also a little bit based on either armor or MR. Making it scale off armor kind of sticks with the traditional/old-school armor-heavy Taric. Making it scale a teeny bit based on MR will have a "healing Taric" obviously go for . Personally, I think I like having it scale on MR better - it makes for very specific build path choices, because usually a Taric might opt for Armor instead.
2. Keep the current mechanics of casting the spell the same - 3 charges, proximity to get the heal, etc.
3. Make it so the spellcast itself pushes out the most healing per person if it heals exactly 2 people (designed for laning phase). If it heals only 1 person (Taric by himself), the heal doesn't do quite as much, maybe 15% less. If it heals 3 people, maybe also 15% less, same as if it were Taric only. If the heal hits 4 people, 25% less healing per person, and if it hits all 5 team-mates, 35% less healing per person.

The "lore" behind point #3 is that Taric likes being admired, but what he likes best is when he's having some 1 on 1 time with an admirer. You know, so they can spend some quality time together, and his buddy can get a closer look at his gemstones, etc. ;)
