@Midseason Mage rework: Malzahar rework idea thread

Ok so our friendly void prophet is a candidate for Riot's mage update.

And i figured i would start a thread where everyone can post their idea's. Makes it easy for everyone and Riot to see what crazy ideas are out there.

So ill start with a crazy idea of my own

Summons voidlings but does not do much with them other then sending them after his opponents. So i was thinking, What if he can instruct one of his voidlings to jump on an opponent and attach itself to them. And after a brief delay it blows itself up. So basically suicide attack by a voidling. This ability would have a mediumlong cast range, so Malzahar would have to be within a certain range to cast it after which the opponent gets marked so everyone can see what is happening. Then the nearest voidling will run towards the marked opponent and once it gets within short range it leaps on the target and sticks to them and after 2 seconds it explodes violently.

Moving out of malzahars voidling leash range for 1 second will remove the mark, otherwise it dissapears after 4 seconds. Also cleansable by cleanse Qss oranges etc, the explosion is shielded by spellshields like banshee/blackshield and applies spell effects. Voidlings jump on the target from 350 range, this jump has a 2 second cooldown after which the voidling tries again if the target is still marked and the voidling is in range. Jump speed/missile speed 975 (speed at which the voidling travels once it jumps towards target) Explosion radius is 175 Cast range 850 Damage 80/120/160/200/250 + 70% ap +100% of voidlings ad + 2/3/4/5/6% maximum health Not sure about cooldown yet. was thinking medium cooldown.

This would have to replace one of his current abilities and im not sure which one. Also this would mean he loses voidlings quite fast if used often. Which might require some tweaks in how malzahar gains voidlings aswell.

Anyway that was one of my crazy ideas ^^
