Today there was a 94 minute lck game.
How the fuck does this happen when games are really snowbally?
How the fuck does this happen when games are really snowbally?
Because they aren't bad at the game.
I wanna make a meme here, but you're right, and I want to cry.
Pros wait excruciating long to do anything regarding the enemy until that enemy makes a huge blunder. It's basically a game of pure cowardice and defense until someone makes a mistake.
Gathering storm would have had nice value then.

sometimes in a blue moon these games slip through the cracks. it usually takes a coordinated team and the right comp, or a lot of luck
i almost wish they happened more often. can you imagine gathering storm after 90 minutes.
Many professionals tend to weigh the risk of a situation differently than we do. They don't say "fuck it" and go in nearly as often, and so they don't snowball hard unless they have complete and utter control. If the teams are evenly matched they will keep making low risk plays until one team makes a mistake.
It's honestly the perfect example of how professional play doesn't really dictate how we play the game, outside of those people who can't win on their own so they just blatantly copy the pros.
Because games aren't nearly as snowbally as people think they just int and then complain that people can run them down when they're 0/2 40 cs @10.
Also, pros think to themselves, "Hm... that person has Stopwatch and the jungler is missing so I probably should wait to dive." They're a lot smarter at the game than Boards will give them credit for and a lot more apprehensive at making stupid, risky plays.
things like that only happen because the game is snowbally. the snowball just rocks back and forward because no one wants to commit to the engage because who ever commits loses their person first
