Silver III The Dream

Hi, I'm a S3 player, and I love to play ADC and Top Lane. But that's not the point of this. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1993121836/42084383?tab=overview That Fiora? 28 CS at 23 minutes?! That's just over 1 CS a minute. My support equaled her. Honestly, there's no reason for this. While this may not be definite proof that "ELO Hell" exists, this is the kind of players we have to deal with. Seem so easy to climb now?

Was she in the game throughout the match duration?

100% of the time, my jungler and I had their jungle warded, so we could see when she was playing. Voli afk'd after her 4th death. Trying to 1v1 the 3/1/1 Renek with a score of 1/3/0

Oh, people are always so ridiculous with the idea that lower elos don't see stuff like this on a consistant bases... They do. But so do middle/higher elos. It never goes completely away. It just gets less frequent the more you progress.

I've known challengers that have told me they lose occasionally in silver... sometimes you just can't win.

However, that's no excuse to stop actively trying to improve your own play. You should always be looking for ways to improve yourself. Just because even challenger level players lose in silver occasionally doesn't mean they lose frequently.

You can do it! :D

I've not tried to stop. I was making this post because of all the higher elos always saying "If you can't climb, you're not good enough." I've been playing at a higher ELO than what I am, but it's slowly getting harder to climb

They just tilt I guess:

  • Their mid died early 1v1
  • Voli died early
  • Their mid died again
  • Teamfight (their botlane was now behind)

On 6 minutes every one of you team had a lead. Unless you throw you where in position to win that game easy. It got even worse since they don't had enouge safe waveclear they just couldn't fall behind that hard that early in the game.

Since you had an early game comp you suppose to win the early game. They compleetly outdrafted themself. And that's the primary reason they lost:

  • Lux vs Zyra => Lux is going to win this 1v1
  • Renekton vs Fiora => Renek is going to win this 1v1 (till 2, 3 items, maybe a bit carefull pre level 3)
  • Volibear vs Kindred => Kindred is going to win this unless voli ganks the entire early game (level 1 ganks etc).
  • Quinn Leona vs Vayne Sona => Based on the support Leona is going to win this. If you manage to get to lategame Vayne can outscale but not without snowball from other lanes.

It actualy really depended on the first draft. The first pick Vayne was countered really hard by the Kindred pick. On that point they where already screwed and they should have realised they needed something more safe if they wanted to reach lategame. The Zyra pick was a terrible idea their. The Sona was also questionable. If you want to play a Sona/Vayne lane. Your jungler has to camp your lane if you want to make it work. You Sona just doesn't have the peel to allow Vayne to play aggressive enouge to snowball a lead.

But since it's solo Q the biggest blunder was the Fiora pick. You litterly are telling your Jungle to play a tank vs an Kindred. He litterly has screwed ones that lock happends. He had to play a jungle with early pressure that also needed to be the frontline. So where his options, the only other pick I can see in his champion pool that could work in that comp was LeeSin. Maybe he could stall a little bit longer with that pick but I highly doubt it. His Volibear was his main jungle pick so you can't really blame the guy for locking that in after an horrible draft from his team.

Honestly, I was most scared OF the Fiora. The team we were playing against would've smashed through us if they got a snowball, and I thought the Fiora would be the problem (why I picked Renek, and not Yas). After I saw she took Ignite, I knew I could play aggressive, since I'd be able to get back faster. Fiora was a fine pick, Summoners were terrible.

Wait she picked summoner 14, didn't even notice. O boy she has no clue what she was doing. Fiora is really not that scary early game. It just are her powerspikes & lategame that makes her so problematic while she can still go perfectly even in lane vs any matchup. If she would have taken tp. She could just farm under turret & provide the splitpush & pressure. Their was litterly no reason to take ignite vs renekton their...

Yeah, I became confident after the ignite pickup. I decided to not even do my early camp that I usually take on Renek because of it, and just decided to early push her in.
