A new ranked game mode I would like to see, a more competitive approach

You can either go in Solo and get matched up with 4 others, or go in as 5. Nothing in between, however, it's not one game and done, it's a best of three. I feel like that would be really exciting, would create a HEALTHY competitive environment because you have to work with the same people for a few games, and it would get crazy competitive if the score is 1 to 1 and it's the game winning game. LP rewards? Doubled-Tripled.

Any thoughts?

Yeah I know, a lot of you will come up with the arguments that:

What if I'm stuck with a player that's bad?

Help him, coach him a bit for the next game in pre game chat, give some pointers, make your weakest link, the strongest link.

What if I have a toxic player on my team that AFKs or trolls?

Riot can add a remove player from series button, and a new player can be match-made to join your team for the remainder of the series, that player will get extra LP if he wins the series, and less LP loss if he loses.

Only for full 5s.. And even then it shouldn't be right of the bat... Rather a kinda "rematch" button that both teams have to consent to after the first round.

If you get outclassed by a huge margin, there just is no point in getting stomped by the same team again.

Just won't work with 4+1, since if the solo is toxic, switching him would take up que time and no point in keeping 8-9 guys waiting for one solo of suitable MMR to que up.

I don't think you read correctly, 4+1 would not happen. You either go in purely Solo and get matched with everyone else, or you go in as 5.

If you are getting outclassed by a large margin against people of the same rank, you probably don't deserve that rank, as it shouldn't be that much of an up hill battle.

Then it would be even more messed up with flame wars.. Just imagine the standard flamefest after a loss.

Mid wanting to swap a jungler who wants to swap out top who blames ADC who blames support, so who gets swapped? All of'em? Just wouldn't work. So much fun for the new guy to come in a 0-1 situation anyways. So the entire swap idea is just weird.

The entire idea is weird because you're not accepting it and have a very pessimistic view.
