Why do I get removed from a promotional series for dodging?

What's the point of that? What's the logic behind it? Why am I penalized even more severely than usual just because I'm in a promotional series?

It doesn't make sense. If I get into a lobby where people are telling each other to "kill yourself" and calling each other "N***ers," and banning each other's champions, and picking Tahm Kench jungle when the top laner wanted to play Tahm Kench - you expect me to just sit through that? You expect me to go into that game that I'm gonna lose anyway because I'm paired with a bunch of toxic 12 year olds?

Nah. I'm good. I'm not gonna waste my time with that crap.

I could understand if you gave a loss. That'd be fine. I still don't understand why, but at least I can still do my series.

I personally think it should be just like dodging any other game - you get a wait timer, and that's it.

But no... even if you haven't played a single game of your series, if you dodge --- you're out.

Why? What's the big idea?

There's literally no reason for it.

So instead, I'm faced with two equally horrible options - sit through a game where people are already flaming and hate speech-ing and trolling each other before champion select is even over, or get tossed out of my series for dodging.

Gee thanks.

Cause people would Look up the Players in their Team and Dodge until they get extremly good winrate Players.

You don't get removed...you get a loss. At any rate, it's like Timethief49 says...it could be abused otherwise.

Most of the nuts and bolts of the game that don't make sense on the surface are usually in place so someone can't abuse it if you stop to think for a minute.
