The reason there is no ezreal nerfs

Ezreal is not the problem. Klepto working with abilities that apply onhit is the problem. Nerfing ezreal would be a silly blunder.

Klepto does no damage and he still bullies you in lane and has over 63% win rate in 0-25 minute games I do think he is the problem lul

The elixirs you get from Klepto are actually super strong if used properly.

He fets rewarded with FREE irems for bullying. Imagine if darius got free mana pots and atk unceasing consumables for doing his job of bullying.

It's more than most ultimates lmao

we are talking about an ability he uses every 2.75 seconds ... not every 60-120 seconds..

Yeah thats my point, he has more damage on his Q with long range no cd than most champs get on their ult.

except he dont, it has good scaling but it dont do that much damage unless you are super squishy and ez is 20-0 at the time, try Qin someone with even 1 armor item lol you hit like a wet noodle.

Out of interest, was that buffed because compared to other ADCs who benefited from Ardent, he didn't as much and therefore was struggling, right? so they buffed that damage and we saw him a couple of times at Worlds but in the jungle because of it yet since Runes all changed and everyone pretty much has less armour, that buff to help him is also a factor in why he is now powerful?

it was ok before klepto and it will be ok after klepto stops triggering on onhits.

what you guys dont get is that nerfing ez and NOT nerfing klepto will change absolutely nothing. do none of you understand how important gold advantage is in the game? when a carry is able to build an entire 3300 gold item + components to another item in 8 mins before your opponent is able to even build half of an item in that same time? nerfing his numbers wont do shit my dude because he isnt the problem.

To clarify this further, ezreal can get a 7 to 8 min triforce because of klepto. That is actually broken. But its not just ezreal. Gp can abuse this too

Nerfing Ez would be super silly in fact; are peeps forgetting Ez was in one of the worst spots in LoL not too long ago? People were only able to make use of the champion by putting him in the jungle lol. But before that, locking in Ez as adc was practically considered troll, he was in such a bad spot.

People should be thanking Klepto for making him a viable adc again.

Ezreal was really never that bad. People just wernt playing him and he got a bad rep on the boards for whatever reason.

Of course he wasn't necessarily that strong either.

Vhan87651 votes

Perhaps in lower elos he wasn't that bad but anything above Diamond considered Ez a troll pick.

If Ezreal is the only champion or there are only 2-3 champions that is broken because of it then yes he is the problem. It makes no sense to nerf something that affects all champions that use it and are in line because one champion is broken with it.

Balancing 101, if they nerf the item they may need to buff a number of champions to compensate rather than nerfing the problem child(Ezreal). Then in turn buffing those underperformers may cause them to become OP from abusing something unexpected. All they have to do instead is nerf ezreal but make sure they keep an eye on him to make sure he is still in a good place.

The problem their is that Riot doesn't really have a clear picture yet where Klepto is.

A general trend with Riot is that champions get over nerfed, because they nerf the champion first, then nerf their items/runes/whatever, leaving them in a worse state.

There's sufficient evidence to say that it's the rune and not the champ, considering that Ez was poorly performing prior to runes reforged. And if you nerf Ez because of his synergy with Klepto, then your effectively balancing him around a single choice in the runes. (Which is what Riot is trying to avoid.)

This isn't to say that the specific synergy between Ez and Klepto isn't problematic, but addressing that synergy should happen on the rune side. And it might give Riot the opportunity to address other possible grievances regarding klepto. (E.X. favoritism for ranged champs who can more easily proc it.)

And here i thought that the problem was that EZStreet proced manamune twice on Q because it counts as a physical hit + spell hit for all intents and purposes now?
