When playing jungle, I pretty much skip getting my enchant until after I finish Tri-force. If I want dmg, I just get
because it helps me take objectives faster than warrior. Otherwise I go Cinderhulk.
Q does well enough clearing without being maxed, and E max can clear fast as well. The reason I always max E first though? Ganks. 100% ALWAYS better for ganks.
Either way, the spires have to go. He needs to be retweaked and tuned, because he is not and has never been a juggernaught.
While Im ranting, there is a good way and a bad way to do contestable passives in a kit. A good example would be Kindred:
Every camp that she can take to gain stacks of her passive can be contested. It encourages the player to think about counter jungling (on both sides) but when kindred is successful, they get a permanent buff that helps them scale into the later game.
Skarner's is a poor example of this. All of the points can be contested constantly. The benefits are all or nothing, so if Skarner is ahead, and his team is on point, they control the zones and Skarner is a terror within them. If Skarner is behind or his team is just not all there, they are constantly taken giving him no benefit, and depending on how far behind he is, the zones don't make him that much stronger. The power of the zones is almost impossible to balance as well. When the zone buffs where strong, they made for a VERY contestable objective, but Skarner was too strong within. Hence the 63% winrate first week out. Riot wasn't satisfied with it until it was so weak that I can basically play Skarner and ignore the fact that I have the zones in the first place. They basically help with first clear at this point and are good for not going oom.
rant over. Sorry :P
