I will stop picking this stuff as soon as you give me some poke or sustain champs that have a chance of fighting against the top picks.

I used to be a Zyra/Sona main. Those picks don't work anymore. Simple as that.

theheck don't they work anymore, i got 60% or even more winrate with Zyra and she works just fine (diamond 5-4 so pretty much trash elo but still)

people just want the easy way, and it's getting insanely boring

If you're picking Zyra into a Blitz/Thresh/Leona meta, and you're winning 60% of your games, you're a Zyra god. She didn't like those matchups even when she was the best support.

Of course they do. Maximizing winning chances is pretty much the point of ranked.

Of course they do. Maximizing winning chances is pretty much the point of ranked.

Zyra hard counters Thresh lol, it's her easiest matchup

other 2 are quite hard

Zyra's easiest matchup among conventional support picks is either Soraka or Sona.

Thresh is a skill matchup. It used to be Zyra favored but I'm not sure about that since Zyra nerfs bumped her out of the meta. It might be plain even now. I don't have enough reps either way to tell.

Anyway, the point is that this isn't a good meta for Zyra. She wants poke lanes to be a thing, because she's super vulnerable to allins. If we want her back in competitive, we need to see stuff like Nami, Lulu, and Sona get back into the lane.

lol i was just thinking the same thing. and morgana is still played alot too.

the only reason those 3 are picked the most is because it's easier to win lane and then carry your team with those champs.

support in of itself is the hardest role to carry with,and its alot easier to carry if you're able to hook people in to your team.

As a lowly silver player (pls dont judge me) I can honestly say that the tanky cc picks just seem to out preform the healers and such. Further, they can more easily get an early kill giving them more consistent snowball potential. There is just little incentive to pick anything else. I personally agree with you, and find these lanes boring - so i just try to not play bot; But thats me.

The thing is i like CC tank and beside Braum that is really the only ones we have to pick from. I guess I can pick Alistar but I all was hate his W as I all was help the other team with it.
